Iron panel and full blood count test results - is it safe to supplement?
Hi there again. I've been looking into my low ferritin, and recently did both the iron panel and FBC. Could someone please comment on them? is it safe to start supplementing? Anything to watch out for?

6 weeks on T4/T3 - thyroid, advanced iron and vit d test results - advice please and mini update :)
Here are my past results on 100 mcg levo (left, 11/20) followed by my new results (02/21) on the right. Results are from Thriva and I followed "our" protocol, except I forgot to split my nighttime dose of T3, which I took just over 8 hours before the test. I alo did an NHS test this morning for the endocrinologist

Scarring on lungs.
I have recently had a chest X-ray because of being very breathless and wheezing a lot. My GP told me that it showed I have fluid on my lungs which may mean pulmonary oedema which could be caused by heart failure. I was referred to a respiratory consultant and he said that he doesn't think there is fluid

Bloods Show Lots of Deficiencies
Hey, I’m new to the site and as some of you seem to have some really good knowledge I’m hoping you might be able to help me. I had a little girl 3 years ago and since then, my health has been really poor- always having infections or needing medication for something. I found out I had underactive thyroid

Potentially got bronchiesctasis - a bit scared
Hi I think I am on the verge of being diagnosed with bronchiectasis after at least 4 years struggling with it and being told it’s just infections and asthma. A chest x-ray showed ‘subtle changes in lung density’ and that it looked like scar tissue or a partially collapsed lung. I am struggling with

Query about shadow on my left lower lung
Hi, I had a chest x-ray and abdominal x-ray at the hospital on Sunday due to having abdominal pain which was diagnosed as gastritis. This morning, a consultant radiologist rang me and told me that they have seen a shadow in my lower left lung. They said it could be a number of things including infection

Please help - recently discovered various issues which may all be linked to thyroid disorder? Still in the dark, no Endo appointment yet
Sorry, this is a long post! I am 35 and am lucky to have had really good health until recently. I lead a very active lifestyle (sea kayaking, running, snorkelling, hill walking) and eat a varied, healthy diet. There are now various issues (some of which I have found myself with private blood tests),

I survived COVID - barely
My husband was not feeling well mid-December and two days later I started with his same symptoms - headache, upset stomach, fatigue. We both thought possibly we had picked up a bug from eating out and that it would run it's course. On 12/19 my PCP told me to go to the local ER to get a rapid COVID

Will I get appointment about Pulmonary Oedema?
Two weeks ago I was told that a chest X-ray I had done a few days before showed that I have pulmonary oedema and that it could be caused by heart failure. This was a shock to me as although I have been breathless and wheezy for quite sometime I really wasn't expecting to be told that. On my father's

How can this be allowed?
Yet again I have had my salbutamol stopped without warning! I have half an inhaler which is supposed to last until mid March. There is no way it will last until then! I have had this stress from my surgery stopping my medication before. Making me have to present my case why this is dangerous for me
