Angiogram
Hi, I had an angiogram about 18 months ago after having a heart attack. The procedure was horrendous as I wasn’t sedated. The catheter didn’t work through my right wrist artery as my artery was too narrow and they put a clamp on my wrist to stop the bleeding. They put the catheter through an artery

Hopelessness
I've been diagnosed officially with PTSD this week which is not a shock. I begin EMDR sessions next week so hope those are able to help. I have these bouts of feeling hopeless. I'm trying not to go too hard on myself but just feel that things will never get easier. Cry myself to sleep most nights with

Pharmacist denied medication
Hesitant to post this. Opinions run strong on subject. My regular (+1yr) pharmacist called to tell me she was denying my regular pain med fill due to increased usage of thc. Shocked. She advised me to find another pharmacy that sells both THC and pain medication (doesn’t exist) and talk to my doctor.

RLS journey- question of pain…
Hi Survivors Very quick question from me: Currently upped my Pregabalin to 100mg and so far so good. As I’ve said in previous posts, it isn’t a silver bullet but it’s helping. Insomnia is harder to kick to the curb but I’ve noticed that I’m not waking with jumpy legs but with random pain. This could

Any Herbal Remedies for Dystonia
My husband is suffering a lot with aches in his legs. When I massaged his legs I noticed that the muscle at the back of one of his legs was bulging in one area and seemed almost twisted. I think this is dystonia. Pain killers such as co-codamol and gabapentin which the doctor prescribed for central

Simbrinza eye drops
I have been prescribed Simbrinza eye drops as a new method of treatment to bring my eye pressures down. My eye pressures are 23 and 20. These new drops are to be taken twice a day together with Bimatoprost once per day. I have done some background reading on these new drops and the side effects were

Dry eyes and hydration
I have lived with glaucoma for more than a decade, and over the years the associated experience of dry eyes and blurred vision has become an increasing problem alongside the treatment interventions and the eye drops that I’m required to use. Some days are worse than others and I’ve never really understood

Good Morning Monday People
Good morning all, I haven't posted in a while since getting my ESA and starting EMDR. I've experienced a lot of improvement and have adjusted well to the Citalopram which leaves me feeling more alive than the Sertraline I was on. I've been feeling contemplative lately about motivation. What are some

ibuptofen?
I am about 10 weeks post aortic valve replacement. Prior to learning I had aortic valve stenosis earlier this year I always regarded ibuprofen as a superior pain killer to paracetamol. Might have something to do with a childhood in Nottingham where it was developed by Boots! Tended to use it for the

Midazelam
Hi I am having cataract surgery on Sunday and you are given choice of a sedative or not. The nurse said "they usually " use Midazelam -obviously anything offered if i am unsure I will go without it. Does anyone know if Midazelam is RLS safe ? Don't want legs jumping around and the surgical instruments

Hi, I have only found this group today so I am really pleased to find ANYONE else who has PMR! I have difficult situation as I was responding really well 25mg of steroids per day, when I developed a CSR in my eye. I have had one before from Stress a couple of years ago and knew this was a risk,

Osteochondral defect, loose bodies in the knee and Baker's cyst.
Hi everyone,Hope you are all managing. Since the beginning of the year, I have been experiencing tear sensation at the back of my right knee. When I told my mum she said it might be that I have added weight. That it would stop when I reduce some weight. In April, I experiened a locked knee. It was

Hi everyone, I just wanted to post a little positivity on here! I know how difficult it is to live with endo (of course), so I wanted to share any positive experiences to anyone who might need it.I had my first laparoscopy (both diagnostic and therapeutic, in the end), in July, so I'm about 6 weeks out

Pred and painkillers
Hi all Can you tell me what painkillers are safe to take with Pred. Is ibuprofen and aspirin off limits and if so what do you suggest for general aches and pains. Many thanks.

Dry mouth
Hi, I'm on Besremi, now at 150 every two weeks (down from 180 as WBC got too low). I have had dry eyes for awhile, but suddenly I'm noticing my mouth is really dry. I also have frequent urination, and have had for sometime which is driving me crazy. I do see urologist next week about that issue
