Post eye operation vision. Experience of distortion and epiretinal membrane
I had a trabeculectomy five weeks previously. Still blurry vision but I know this is the norm and a lot has been discussed. My blurriness is clearing very slowly, - so slow to frustrate me but not slow enough to worry doctors - but as my vision slowly improves, I have noticed the distortion of my vision

Worried and scared
So I went to my GP as by then I had a droopy left upper eyelid and an awful
pain
around my
eye
. He said that he does not know what is causing that eyelid and has referred me to the hospital. For the past 3 weeks I've worried myself sick. I've read about an ERM and it looks awful.

Hi First post on here and Not really sure where to start! So I suppose hello 👋! So my story……back in May 2020 I woke with a massive headache one that you know is not normal and one I had never suffered from before! I took pain killers and nothing touched the sides of it. As we were on the middle

Fractures, daily painkillers continuous
For those that have had fractures in the spine, and are now on daily painkillers or daily medication, what do you take and who do you do on it? I started fracturing 6 years ago and think i have just fractured again (x ray just taken), in agony with what I assume is muscle spasms getting in and out of

Life with fractures, help in the UK
I am in the UK and, at the moment, I am overwhelmed with pain from what I believe is another fracture. I started fracturing 6 years ago and dont feel that I am under anyone in particular who can help with day to day living etc. So far we have spent out on a chairlift (£5000) and an adjustable bed

New hypothyroid diagnosis and weird symptoms - is this "normal"?
Around about the same time, I started to get
eye
floaters which I had never had before, jaw
pain
and I can't wear contact lenses without pain and discomfort (optician says I am fine). These symptoms subsided by the time I got my diagnosis, but yesterday they came back with a vengeance.

Sore Throat
I have a sore throat right at the base of my throat where my thyroid is. It’s particularly sore in the night. Could it be my thyroid or just a random sore throat? My tonsils and throat area are slightly red, but nothing major. My current dose is T4 100mcg and T3 18.75. What can I do about it? Painkillers

Timing of Eylea Injections
When I was diagnosed with Macular Oedema at a very overdue ophthalmology appointment I was told I would start a course of 5 four-weekly Eylea injections in two week. In fact it was four weeks before my first injection and another six weeks till the second despite chasing up and getting "You are on the

Strabismus surgery and CSR success so far
I just recently had strabismus surgery and I have CSR in my left eye. I had surgery in both eyes I was super nervous about it but my specialist told me it doesn’t affect the inner eye. I’ve had dramatically improved results since I’ve had the surgery. I believe it has something to do with my eyes being

Hi, has anyone elected to stop Methotrixate due to the side effects and inconclusive RA diagnosis. Decided to stop as side effects outweigh benefits! Has anyone then moved on to controlling inflammation with alternatives like turmeric, devils claw or Chinese remedies. There has to be an alternative

Circumscision Super painful
hello I am 18 and had Circumscision 2 days ago it is so painful I’m on strong painkillers but I can’t have anything touch it and I’m still yet to have a shower as it’s unbearable. There’s lots of dry blood and I’m supposed to apply an antibiotic ointment but I just can’t bring myself to apply as it’s

Ganfort - is it preservative free?
My consultant prescribed Ganfort eye drops because they're supposed to be preservative free and I had been having problems (soreness) with other eye drops. However, I note from the accompanying leaflet that they contain the preservative benzalkonium chloride which is a preservative. Just wondering if

Treat Your Body Pain more Effectively
Pain O Soma 500mg (carisoprodol) is often used as a muscle relaxant. The drug works by preventing painful sensations from being transmitted between the brain and the nerves. Pain relievers like Soma 500mg are needed, as well as rest and physical rejuvenation. https://buysafemg.com/Pain-O-Soma-500mg

Miralax..
So I posted the other day about having to get a colonoscopy, and I'm worried it will trigger my aFib. Now I'm guessing it won't be the colonoscopy but rather the 240grams of Miralax they are telling me I need to take in the 24 hours prior to the exam. I called into the office 2 days ago and the doc

Good Morning I should apologise for not being a bit more proactive on this site. I suffered a TBI caused by an AVM 2 years ago (this caused a subarachnoid hemmorage) this has left me with permanent double vision and a balance problem. I spent 4 months in hospital, only left there because I forced it

Bacterial Eye infection/conjunctivitis
I have been using Chloramphenicol ointment for 3 days but it seems to make the
pain
worse. Also tried
eye
wipes and holding a flannel soaked with warm water which is good at relieving the irritation for a while.

Swollen Legs summary, Zytiga failed, scheduled for Docetaxel
Dear all, Thank you for the responses on the last two Swollen legs posts in regards to my fathers health. I feel obligated to share the latest info. At least I can do since you gave me so much things to think about. Finally yesterday we were able to see my fathers oncologist. Unfortunately, as I said
