Hi I am having cataract surgery on Sunday and you are given choice of a sedative or not. The nurse said "they usually " use Midazelam -obviously anything offered if i am unsure I will go without it. Does anyone know if Midazelam is RLS safe ?

Don't want legs jumping around and the surgical instruments giving me a nose job instead

Thanks Pipps x

It's a benzodiazepam and is safe.

I had a cataract operation a fortnight ago and was worried about my restless legs so I took extra Pramipexole the night before and I was OK. I intend to get off the Pramipexole but am leaving it until I’ve had the other eye done
