TW success - One embryo left
Hello ivf warriors, this would be sensitive to those at the beginning of the ivf journey but I am hoping there are still people around who could share their views from their own journey on where we are at. After a year of unsuccessful tcc, 2x mmcs, 3 ivf rounds, one easy and one scary pregnancy, we

What next after pregnancy?
Hi all I've been diagnosed with severe endo 6 years ago after laparoscopy. 6 IVFs, 2 successful. I've stopped breastfeeding in February and just had my 3rd period. It's not too bad yet but it is clearly getting worse every time. My symptoms were always extremely painful, heavy periods, and endo belly

Flu like symptoms day after failed FET. Immune response?
We’ve just found out our latest IVF cycle was unsuccessful. I’m at a complete loss and wondered if the following had happened to anyone else? The day after my FET I felt extremely ill with extreme flu like symptoms (chills, sweating etc.) I felt so ill I was convinced it was flu or Covid. These symptoms

To add a bit of background I do not ovulate without having clomid and I have adenomyosis. It was taking a long time to get pregnant so was referred to care fertility for ivf under the nhs. Whilst on our last cycle of clomid before stopping this and moving on to try ivf medication under the clinic I found

Theatre closed - another month to wait :(
Most upset today, I expected to start my first round of ivf but have been told for the third time it can’t start as this time the theatre is closed for a week from 1st - 8th July. No prior warning. Previously my period fell on two bank holidays so I missed two months then I had a mixed up with meds.

Spotting early and slow slow periods
Hi, I’ve been trying to conceive for a few years now and have done a couple of unsuccessful ivf cycles. I have tons of eggs and respond very well to treatment. However, I don’t think I am “normal”. We’ve identified quite severe male factor issues and so went for ICSI and we ought to be having another

Adenomyosis and IVF- Advice badly needed
Hi, Im 40, I have adenomyosis and I have one failed round of IVF behind me. It unfortunately ended with a chemical pregnancy. Its been very much a rollercoaster of emotions. I got a positive test but was then told after my 2nd hcg test that it was looking like a chemical pregnancy. I do believe

IVF transfer protolols (adenomyosis / endometriosis)
Hey there fellow warriors. I am agonising over IVF transfer protocols. After a year of batch stimming I am very fortunate to have 3 euploid blastocysts on ice ready to transfer. I have had five failed transfers (x2 miscarriages, 3 BFNs) and feel like I have tried everything already in terms of protocols

Good morning all,So I had my fresh transfer last Monday and today I'm 8dp5dt and as I've been having a bit of a wobble I wanted to do a pregnancy blood test a bit earlier. Confused about the NHS process for IVF
Hello My husband (age 37) and I (age 32) have been referred to the local infertility service via my GP in Leicestershire. My husband has severe oligospermia, so we were told by the embryologist that we would need ICSI. Also, my AMH is only 9pmol/l. I'm confused about what happens next... I've been

NHS counselling
Can anyone tell me what IVF counselling is like that is offered by NHS? What does it involve? And did it help? Ive had two failed rounds of IVF so far and have one more chance which I will do probably in October. I'm purposefully putting it off and I'm struggling to pick myself up after my second failed

Returning to work from maternity leave
I’ve just had the most wonderful year off with my beautiful baby girl, and today the inevitable has happened, I have to return to work. I am so upset I can’t put it into words. It was a journey to get her to start with, we had IVF and so she is just the most precious thing in our lives. Her Daddy has

bad news at early viability scan - do I keep taking IVF meds?
I had my early viability scan yesterday following FET on 7/5. I should have been 7w4d but the nurse who did the scan was only able to measure the embryo at 6w2d. She was also unable to find a heartbeat and said that the pregnancy was not going to continue. I’m booked in for a confirmation scan with

follicle growth - too fast and game over?
hi all! I’m in my 2nd ivf stim cycle and at day 8 of the cycle I had my scan - 2 follicles are already at 18-18.8mm with others following at 12-14mm. The clinic reduced my dosage to 300 and told me to start the antagonist (orgalutran) today.. I’m really worried by the time I trigger they will be too
