My period hasn't arrived after taking norethisterone to induce it
Hi there, I am hoping Diane can help or any other ladies who have experienced this. I am waiting to go on the pill to start IVF. Due to very irregular periods, I have to take norethisterone each time to induce a bleed. AF usually arrives 5 days after stopping the tablets. It's now been 9 days and no

Help! New to all this. Lots of questions! :(
Hi, I've been having horrendous problems for the last few months and endometriosis has been mentioned as a possible cause. My periods were very heavy and uncomfortable with spotting in between up until last Christmas. Over Christmas / new year I was put on norethisterone to stop me bleeding. This sent

Has anyone had constant bleeding/spotting with the mirena and decapeptyl, or the mirena and norethisterone? If so, has anything else worked?
I have had the mirena coil for 2 years now, and although my periods are lighter, And more erratic i continue to have them. I have also been on norethisterone at 45mg per day, for 3 months, but I still have pain and variable degrees of bleeding or spotting. Nothing seems to stop me bleeding, I even had

Endo and norethisterone
Hi all I had surgery for endometriosis and ovarian remnant syndrome 2 weeks ago today. The left ovarian remnant and Fallopian tube were removed and part of the lining of the pelvic wall as this was covered in endometriosis. It was my 6th operation for this horribly frustrating condition! The good news

My partner can feel my coil, is this normal?
I had a lap done on the 19th of June and had the merina coil fitted at the same time. I've literally had problems ever since. I know they say it takes a while for the bleeding to settle down but my god im exhausted. I have two urine infections and a pelvis infection since the op. I manager a bridal shop

Gynaecology-Hysterectomy
Well I'm happy today as I went to see my GP. She's absolutely wonderful. We spoke in great detail about everything that's happened. She's referred me to a gynaecologist and we'll take it from there. She seems to think that an operation will be needed, Probably one to reduce the lining of the womb

How long does it take for Cerazette to work? Even Noresthisterone isn't effective.
On Cerazette and Norethisterone, but still bleeding heavy and very painful. Difficult to walk I'm off sick and worried about my job. The last laser I had was 10 years ago. I don't want surgery if I can avoid it as worried about scar tissue encouraging more endo. I've only been on Cerazette for 3

Endometriosis caused small bowel blockage
I recently had to have quite a major operation due to endometriosis adhesion's causing a small (upper) bowel blockage, which involved me having 6 inches of bowel removed, leaving me with an 11-12 inch scar from top to bottom of my tummy. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I am currently

How can they say they found nothing in my second lap??
I've had two laps, in the first one they said I had mild endo and lasered it off (dec 2009). There was definitely nothing mild about the pain!! Two years later I had my second lap (sept 2011) where they said they found nothing but a few adhesions and a sticky ovary (whatever that is) so they didn't think

I hate it!
Have finally come on today after waiting since the 22nd of January when I stopped taking my norethisterone. I've been sat here all evening on my own in agony even after taking tramadol, paracetamol and mefenamic acid. Now I've thrown up and just need a hug. As I now know I cannot take anything with progesterone

How long until I bleed after stopping norethisterone?
I've been on norethisterone for 9 months now and had 2 breaks whilst on it. I bled within 3-4 days of stopping it before but now it's been 7 days. I'm not on any other medication at the moment and am getting slightly worried about being pregnant! Is it possible that I am? We forgot I'd stopped taking

Anyone elses' boobs got smaller due to oestrogen suppression?
I got told by a GP a few years ago that oestrogen is what drives the size of your boobs. He said that women who have a lot of orgasms can see a change in breast size as orgasms make you release oestrogen. I've always been either a 34b or a 32c depending on the bra but since I've been taking my norethisterone
