Prostap......and now norethisterone. Is it ok?
I have recently had my first prostap injection....but the bleeding has got worse. So bad, that I had to come home from work ( in a school ) to get changed cos i was in a mess. :( Doc has now started me on norethisterone tablets 3 a day. Thankfully the bleeding has decreased, and hopefully will stop all

I am currently in my 8th month of decapeptyl treatment, which apart from some minor side effects, is working well for me. One of the side effects I have is spotting or a bloody discharge. I am going on holiday in June, and wondered, if I was to take a low dose of norethisterone , would this stop the

Hi everyone,I need advice about Norethisterone
My period coming on 23rd may (and really can't go through the pain again) but having surgery on 31st May so do you think I could take Norethisterone for a few days to delay my period? Until my cyst is removed at least. I would like to ask my gynaecologist but it's hard to speak to him even on the phone

Bleeding after sex
On Yasmin back to back for over 2 years, all going well until 3 months ago. Breakthrough bleeding that lasted for over a week and getting worse. Doctor put me on a course of norethisterone, bleeding stopped. Feeling better for a bit and for the first time in years I was able to have proper intercourse

Has anyone been prescribed norethisterone for their Endo?
I know it's normally prescribed short term to hold off your period for a large event eg holiday. But my gynae wants me to take it every day for 2 months 5mg 2x daily for my pain. I do not get irrregular periods nor flooding. Just constant pain. I was wondering if any of you ladies have used it and what

I have lower left abdo and groin pain and more a less constant bleeding, any suggestions to stop this would be a massive help
After having no or very light periods while on the depo injection (I was taken off it due to having osteopenia) and the implant I started to get constant bleeding. After trying different pills none of which were having any effect, along with endless pregnancy and STI checks all of which were clear I

Anyone on Norethisterone still experience the pain as though they're meant to be having a period?
I have been on Northisterone for around 6weeks. At the beginning of November I had the coil fitted as a last treatment resort. The past 6months I have been all over the place, I bled for 9weeks losing clots, flooding and extreme pain, I had five weeks of no bleeding (during which I had the coil fitted

Has anyone had treatment for suddenly occurring ovarian cysts during the IVF process?
On my long protocol, I was given norethisterone tablets for 12 days for the purpose of suppressing ovarian cysts though i was not found to have cysts on the baseline scan on the month. This is somehow the standard practice at the clinic. However, I went for another baseline scan yesterday before the
