Hi has anyone found relief with their anxiety and depression using HRT. I’m feeling so desperate with many symptoms but these two are taking me over and a black cloud is following me everywhere. I’m on sertraline 100mg daily been on it a long time upping and downing the dosage. I was on 200mg last year

Long story short- long battle to get diagnosis although received in 2019 and Hashimoto’s confirmed. After several attempts to stabilise on mono therapy I was lucky enough after several years of strife and illness to be allocated an endo who listened to me, took cortisol levels (low) addisons test (

Oestrogen medication
Hi all After my failed fresh transfer recently, I’ve been told I can begin prep for the frozen one. I’ve been prescribed Progynova from my clinic but I can’t get it where I am so they’ve said I can use a substitute that my local pharmacy does have called Premarin. Has anyone used Premarin and had success

CHANGE OF BIOLOGIC TREATMENT
Hello, I have had Rheumatoid arthritis since my late 30s (77 now). I had several biologic treatments , some of which did not really control the RA well… The best biologic was Enbrel (Etanercept) weekly injections. It gave me my life back for 14 years until I had my second knee replacement operation

Update on my son Adam
Hi All This is just an update on how my 8-year-old boy is doing after his Hemorrhagic stroke. We're slowly making progress with his motor skills, most of the time he crawls about the house but with help from me walking a little. his appetite has improved a lot so very happy on that side of things.

I GAVE UP.
I will try and be short about my story. It is a snapshot of events whilst I was on Levothyroxine for more or less 25 yrs. I never felt well and was never referred to an endocrinologist. I gained weight, my hair thinned. I had problems not only with my voice, but swallowing food. I had brain fog, acute

Dealing with minor Speech issues.
🙂 Many of us have noticed changes in our Speech…it can be embarrassing and frustrating. If this becomes a real problem we’re generally referred to a Speech Therapist..and there is also the option of joining AtaxiaUKs link to Speech Therapy. Something else I’ve seen recommended..is learning another

Tagrisso users
Hi everyone. I do hope today is a 'good' day for you. I was wondering if there is anyone on here that, like myself, is receiving targeted therapy with a drug called Tagrisso? Despite my oncologist helping with additional side effects advice and treatment, I'm finding it very hard going and would like

Adjusting Timing of T3 Before Testing
Many of us adjust the timing of what we take for testing. My question concerns combination therapy with T3 taken in two doses. Let's say the day before testing is Monday and assume the blood draw takes place Tuesday at 8 am. Easy enough to take Levo at 8 am Monday. Suppose one usually takes T3 in

Natural remedies to assist with sickness
Hello everyone. I just wanted to ask how many people have used ginger tea, ginger travel sickness tablets and acupressure wrist bands for their sickness? I'm having targeted therapy for lung cancer and have found it virtually impossible to go anywhere in the car without horrible nausea and vomiting.

Still struggling...how can it be getting worse?
It has only been a month since I'd been diagnosed with CLL. I shouldn't be feeling this crappy this fast? My GP admitted that I've most likely had this cancer for much longer than we known since this year (the testing and eventual hospitalization in late April to early May) was the first time I'd gone

PROTON THERAPY
Who is eligible to use proton therapy as a treatment for prostate cancer. In a recent meeting with my oncologist and specialists I was told ONLY prostate cancer patients can do it and not those who have metastasize of the bone or other areas.

Starting treatments
Had a setback due to being hospitalized in the ICU for a month and a half. Went to the Oncologist last week and about to start some aggressive treatment as I have a very aggressive prostate cancer. The oncologist on duty at the hospital had an MRI done to show where the metastasized bone cancer is located
