Ahhhh well, I guess it could be worse!
A while back, I was seen by a lady at the pain clinic, who said that I have ‘Scoliosis convex to the right with minor anterior vertebral body height loss at T12, L3 and L4. Disc space narrowing at the lumbosacral level with hypertrophy of the lower lumbar facet joints’. The pain is really intense,

Anyone find PVCs are accompanied by a feeling of mucus in your throat?
I had constant PVCs 24/7 for 6-8 months two years ago. At the time I mentioned to my GP and cardiologist that I felt like I had mucus in the left side of my throat, like post-nasal drip, but they both ignored that and didn't give me any kind of explanation. After starting on HRT (I am in perimenopause

Hormone concerns prior to ICSI
HiWe are due to start out first IVF/ICSI next month. I privately have been doing my own investigations as our GP and NHS is terrible in our area and I have been having symptoms of concern. We are referred for ICSI due to poor morphology but also I am 36 and AMH 6.25. So far I have found that on a day

Scary visionary issues after valve replacement ….
Hi guys. I’m male, 67 and just had an aortic valve (tissue) replacement/dual bypass about 10 days ago. It’s going pretty well, a bit of expected sternum / leg pain, but just completed my first 20 min walk without getting too out if breath. Excercise is definitely good for breathing. What’s really freaking

Elbow Replacement Surgery P3 on Waiting List
Saw the elbow surgeon yesterday, he's putting me on the waiting list, category P3. Can someone explain what that means, categories were not mentioned when I had neurosurgery and hip replacements. Thanks.

Estrogen vs ADT?
I've read 5 recent papers that discuss the use of estrogen as an alternative treatment to ADT (Lupron, etc.). The new data looks very favorable. A bit of history. Huggins discovered this effect around 1941-44, and he found that high doses of estrogen (estradiol) efficiently castrated men, which

PD and orthopedic surgeries
I’m debating having a partial knee replacement (for patella femoral arthritis) AND/OR Morton’s neuroma surgery. I really need both, but am very concerned about not being able to exercise, the way I usually do, for at least a few months. Would it be wise to schedule both surgeries just a couple of

Help with results please :)
Hi and thanks for reading in advance. I’ve recently had bloods done after a small increase in Levo and I’m not understanding why they are more raised since the increase. I have had a few things all going on at the same time for the last 2.5 years, menopause, vit D deficiency(now in range), B12 deficient

PSA suppression
My PSA lows tend to be around 3.3, and it occurs to me that some might think it odd that I don't drive it lower. I think it is very common for men on ADT to draw too much comfort from a significant PSA reduction, if not a near-zero PSA. I have witnessed men misinterpret a dramatic drop in PSA as
