Newbie - Is this Normal? Should I have Treatment?
Good morning! I'm a newbie here and i'm just unsure as to whether I should accept what my GP is telling me and put up with it or go private. A bit of history - I'm 46, female, overall good health historically but diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Deficiency (Early menopause) in my early thirties.

Estrogen Priming - Cycle 2
For my second cycle my consultant has suggested doing 7 days worth of Estrogen priming before i start my stims - apparently it helps to encourage follicles to grow at a steady rate together rather than some firing ahead. Has anyone had experience of this, did it help? TIA xx

Failed implantation - what tests should I get to investigate and is the NHS likely to take them into consideration?
Hi, I was lucky enough to get NHS funding for IVF. Had one FET so far and it failed to implant. If I wanted to get tests in private to investigate implantation failure, which ones should I get, and are NHS consultants likely to take them into consideration or am I wasting money?I have a positive test

Very confused and don't know what to do to help my body heal
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and up to 6 weeks ago the only digestive concerns I had was Coeliac Disease and a sliding hiatal hernia which was discovered at my endoscopy 4 years ago. The hernia hasn't given me any bother up to this point except for the occasional bout of acid reflux every couple

Thyroid medication changes when starting HRT for perimenopause
I have been self medicating with liothyronine and levothyroxine for the past two years or so. Today I started the estrogen patch for perimenopause symptoms, and will also start progesterone in a couple of days. The provider that prescribed these said that some women need to increase their thyroid

Oestrogen levels and inflammation triggering/ exacerbating PMR?
Does anyone have knowledge/ experience correlating oestrogen levels with PMR? Can it be a trigger, and exacerbate symptoms? I have read that inflammation increases during menopause. Is it worth having my hormones tested? I'm about 2 years into menopause.

I found this paper and thought I'll share. This is for patients with hashis, who are not yet on thyroid hormone replacement. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38243784/

Feeling let down
Just a bit of a rant really as feeling let down by the system. Iāve been back and forth to the GPās over the years with Raynuards, rosacea, recently a sun spot that turned cancerous, depression, fainting etc and no one up until me doing my research has ever joined the all the constellation of symptoms

T3/T4 HRT Meds before surgery?
Hello lovely people, i hope everyone is managing to catch up on the long overdue sun ;) Sadly, my gynaecologist has found an ovarian tumour which needs to be removed and biopsied. Recovery from this will take between 6-8 weeks. I am in really good health otherwise but do take 150mg Levo and 45mg Liothyronine
