Hi all, I’m a 64 year old woman whose periods stopped when I was 50, I chose HRT after a few years of non stop daytime sweats, zero concentration and bursting into tears at the drop of a hat 🙈 I stopped the HRT back in 2020 but had to start it again last year as the sweats returned with a vengeance! I was going through four or five outfits (and showers) a day.
This weekend I have had what I can only describe as a very light period but with extreme pain in my lower pelvis and my back. Reminded me of the awful, painful periods I had in my younger days. This is not right and I’ll be ringing my GO surgery first thing tomorrow morning!
Has anyone had any similar experiences?

Hi Please follow up with the doctor. I have no experience of HRT but had post menopausal bleeding - not very heavy and intermittent but it was endometrial cancer. Caught early so i am now ok after a hysterectomy.
Thank you for responding, I’m so glad you’re ok and you caught it early enough. I managed (by some miracle) to get an appointment with a GP this afternoon. 🤞🏼
