Searching for estrogen patch or gel
Dear brothers and sisters. I reside in El Salvador and am searching for estrogen in patch or gel wondering if this might help hold off the beast, as it has for Ronron and others. In El Salvador, they only have tablets of .65 mg. I have read that the tablets are dangerous because they are processed

New drug for treating hot flashes under FDA review
This article appeared in Natl Geographic's online daily. Because it is behind a paywall, I have copied it below. While the drug is primarily intended for menopausal women, the article notes that future beneficiaries could include men taking drugs for prostate cancer. Is it possible to cure hot

egg collection - oestrogen level over 14000
Hey all! I had my last scan and bloods today and egg collection confirmed for Wednesday- nervous and excited! They have told me due to high follicle (23) and oestrogen (14,780) levels it will be a freeze all and I’m at serious risk of OHSS… if we are lucky enough to get embryos I really wanted to go

New to OP, Hormone for building bones
It was suggested that there is a hormone that helps to build bone. I am not talking about estrogen. Soon I will be 70 and that hormone has an increased risk of cancer. Is there another hormone for bone density? I have taken the recommended supplements, 1200 mg calcium and D3 along with the recommended

OHSS possible with a low number of eggs?
Severe bloating and massive pain in the abdomen (and even more sever ones every 5 minutes or so) and I cannot even lie down due to shooting pain in the rib cage. The doctor thinks it is ohss. Can it happen with a low number of eggs? My estrogen level was elevated before egg collection but nothing concerning

burning from estradiol vag cream
I've been prescribed a generic estradiol vaginal cream for vaginal atrophy due to menopause. I'm actually still in perimenopause but about 4 years ago (age 46) I began to get UTI's after intercourse and would feel irritated and itchy also. It's just gotten worse over time and now it's really bad.

Issues with HRT four weeks on
I’ve been taking 100mg of Utrogestan, 2 pumps of oestrogel and vagirux for a month now. Initially I felt calmer but now I’m feeling worse than before. I’m getting more genito-urinary symptoms especially the day after using Vagirux. It’s the same as Vagifem. Especially after dropping down to twice

looking for a bit of advice regarding FET
Hi everyone, I had egg collection and failed fresh transfer in October after which I had a bleed. I ovulated around 14 days ago so expected my period today but no sign. The clinic rang me out of the blue yesterday and said they could do a FET this month and to start estrogen the day my period starts

Transdermal E2 Gel
Many of you are still questioning my use of tE2 gel? The gel and the E2 Patch are basically an old therapy which was taken off the market in 1985 due to an increase in cardiovascular issues and replaced with the extremely profitable and 'QOL reducing' jabs called Lupron or Zolodex. Prior to that time

The possible beneficial effect for the treatment of peripheral neuropathy of two neuroactive steroids, progesterone and pregnenolone
I was researching pregnenolone on the internet and came across this article. It may be of interest to anyone struggling with neuropathy. Pregnenolone is formed from cholesterol and is the precursor substance for numerous important endogenous hormones. Among others, progesterone, cortisol, and aldosterone

Post menopause mast cell reactions and is there light at the end of the tunnel?
I wondered if mast cell reactions would reduce at some point post menopause and if anyone else found a way to control estrogen dominance to reduce the mast cell reactions? What tests, if any, can I ask my GP to do?
