WOOHOO !!!
hi.. Had my weigh in today and ive lost 5.5lbs.. at last the scales have moved after weeks of exercising and eating well and the scales not moving ... just shows if you keep at it and be patient the weight does come off eventually. Last week I followed a no carb diet and seems to have given the weight

Christmas diet holt
Christmas is such a bad time to be on a weight loss diet and for someone weak like myself it's a real test of focus. I think I'm just eating less than I used to and saying more "not for me thank you" than I used to to hold back the weight regain. Being realistic I think this is my best Christmas diet

Diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa yesterday
Yesterday I went to the hospital for my eating disorder assessment and after being asked questions and my BMI being checked I was told I fit the criteria (or something like that) for Anorexia nervosa and shall now see a dietitian and a therapist. Still feels very unreal and I feel in denial like I am

A little help
I just joined this site a couple of weeks ago and I am trying to get help for my Binge eating disorder and I just started to get off sugar slowly and I will soon know if slow and steady works for me. I am trying to do things that work for me and give me a healthy lifestyle. I see a dietitian regularly

I have FD in my R ULNA HUMERUS AND C2 SPINE? I make new bone, however it doesn't mature and become rigid. It's similar to Mcune Alright syndrome ( cherubim )in children. It makes the bone prone to fracture. Not really something you'd really want in your second neck bone. I have PA, hypothyroidism,

Pop
I am really finding it hard getting off pop something so simple yet very hard. It is a small step to my working on a healthy lifestyle. My eating pattern is better since Tuesday. I had a night Monday night of splurging on sugar. I want to be a winner in this binge eating disorder. I am just tired

Weighing Obsession
I haven't weighed myself for a year now. I have an obsession with weighing and was advised to throw away my scales as it was making me unwell. The weight on the scales told me what a terrible, ugly person I was, no willpower and not worth anyone's attention. It was always bad news when I stepped on

Support for transgender people with EDs?
I was wondering if anyone knew of support resources for trans people in recovery, because a lot of the pro recovery sites I visit for support say things like "do it for the boobs" or stuff like that, whereas I just want to minimise all the female aspects of my body. I tried searching for stuff but all

Yo-yo dieter
Hi I have PCOS so eating healthy is hard work. I've tried numerous diets plus the silly times of starvation diets. Sick and tired of going through the emotional lows of never achieving the correct results. Wondering if anyone else has PCOS and tried this route of losing weight and if it works for them

Full length mirror
Hi all, today I went into the changing rooms of a shop to try on a shawl. I could not believe how enormous I am. I was 11st (5' 6'') 3 years ago when I began suffering from excruciating sciatica. I quickly became debilitated and so just sat around comfort eating for 2 years until spinal surgery finally

My 1 year binge-eating free anniversary
I have just noticed in my calendar that today was my 1 year binge-eating free anniversary. I have been binging since my teenage years and it was driving me crazy. Then last year a miracle happened... I was on a business trip, sitting in a hotel room with sweets, potato chips and cola on my bed. I felt
