Folate levels
Good morning all. So I mentioned the other day that after a blood test my folate was very low. Even with a regular 400ug maintenance dose & trying Methylfolate along the way, with SI B12 every other day for almost 2 years now. Those who know my story will know I believe my extremely high dose of OxyContin

1st Firmagon/Degarelix Shots.
I received my first Firmagon shots (2) on Monday 10/19/2020. Three days in and the pain is still very much present from the red swollen hard pot belly that resulted. Not sure I can face this monthly for 2-3 years, even if 1 shot going forward. Is the first treatment the worst from the large dose?

Post radiation - lack of orgasmic release/retrograde ejaculation?
61 year old male, obese (70 lbs over weight). Following external radiation and brachy radiation for prostate cancer, when I approach orgasm I feel a very warm sensation in my rectum and go limp, with no sense of release or orgasm. Doctors have no answer, but from articles on the "interweb", I suspect

Azoospermia and SSR- your experiences and stories needed to calm my nerves
Just wondering if any of you lovely people have been through your partner having an SSR and what lead to this? My partner was diagnosed with azoospermia in March, since then he has had blood tests to check testosterone, FSH and LH. He was tested for the cystic fibrosis gene and had his chromosomes checked

Intermittent ADT? Anyone tried this approach?
I begin monthly Firmagon injections tomorrow. This drug can reduce testosterone 88% in 24 hrs.94% in 3 days...ànd some have reported their T will not recover for 2-3 months after an injection. After reading here about the idea that intermittent ADT may be as productive as full bore constant ADT (which

Hi to my fellow learned mates, After having my biopsied liver tissue analysed , there appears to be a few gene mutations which hopefully have target potential. Flaxseed
My NMD told me that flaxseed causes estradiol to decrease in preference of estriol. Estriol is supposedly good for PCa depending on how much ERb and ERa one has. I have been on supraphysiologic testosterone (SPT) for a little over a year. I use an AI (letrozole) and my estradiol hovered around 20 pg/

What do you think of these supraphysiologic testosterone theories?
One road is: SPT (supraphysiologic testosterone) AI (aromatase inhibitor - blunts testosterone to estrogen conversion) 5-ARI (5-alpha reductase inhibitor. Blunts testosterone to DHT conversion) Progesterone https://palpable-prostate.blogspot.com/2008/02/testosterone-metabolism-and-prostate.html?fbclid

10 month after Radiotherapy
1.5 years after RP and 10 months after radiotherapy I finally have ideal findings. PSA <0.003, testosterone 7.8. I went through a lot and now it's time to enjoy the findings a bit. I would like to thank everyone for the advice, it really helps a lot. I got all kinds of advice from all sides, but here

**Sensitive** Donor Egg Recipients: stopping med question??!
So I’ll be 12 weeks on Saturday and my scan is on Monday. My clinic in Greece has given me two different set of advice: 1. Stop all medication on Saturday but before doing so chat to my care team incase I need to stay on some meds. They know my scan isn’t until Monday. When I questioned this advice
