Oh I'm do sorry sweetie that you are going through this. Have you considered changing clinics? May I ask in which country you are doing the treatment? There are good places out there for these kind of treatments. Sending you lots of love.
No as we only got on so no point really all the other eggs died in the thawing process so I have an investigation ongoing at the clinic as that shouldn't of happened. I have had all level one tests buy not ones for NK I'm on blood thinners for lupus anticoagulation activity which was diagnosed during those tests.
I'm sorry to hear that. It seems there is an issue with their processes/lab unless the embryos were poorly graded which would suggest a potential sperm/egg issue. We tested 3 DE embryos, 2 were euploid and 1 was segmental( not reccomended for transfer due to chromosome involved). Ours was a proven donor. We were dissapointed to only get 3 blasts from 12 eggs but after hearing your story I think we did reasonably OK.
In preparation for transfer I have done nk cells, clotting and full thyroid panel tests. I was found to have thyroid antibodies and slightly raised nk cells so will be on a heavy immune protocol for that in addition to clexane starting before transfer. I also had hysteroscopy as I had 2 x natural miscarriages and haven't been able to get pregnant naturally or with OE since. No issues were found with my uterus.
I would suggest more testing and maybe pgt if you get enough embryos. I agree if you only get one it's probably not worth it but transfers cost money plus the emotional side of things which you can't put a value on. I would also look at other clinics as loosing embryos in thawing process would worry me. I'm travelling abroad for mine, inconvenience it's a small price to pay in the whole process. Best of luck x
Hey Nevergu. I'm deffo gonna push for them to put me on prednisolone I think next time . I'm waiting the outcome of my complaint to the egg donor bank. I'm hoping they are kind enough to give us another set. But I think I will have to fight. I wish you luck with you cycle. Thankyou for your testing advice.
Hey Boo My clinic refused prednisolone this round even though I asked. I think I'm going push for it if we have another go.
My bacteria levels had pretty much resolved after the first round of antibs so the second round should of sorted them right out. I decided not to opt for a 3rd biopsy as felt that it wasn't necessary.
I'm sorry to here your 3 blasts were no good. What happens in that situation does your clinic let you go again?
Yeh our clinic were amazing. It was just pure bad luck as both the donors were vetted and the embryos were 5aa. So we got another round. I always thought moving to donor would be a definate but it’s not. We are heading in sep for our 4th double donor transfer after one bfn and two chemicals. There’s always a hurdle. I’m on progyluton, aspirin, prolutex, prednisolone, and clexane. Next time we are going to check progesterone in the tww and hopefully up the prednisolone. I hope you get your wee miracle soon xxx
That's really good to hear. It's nice to hear a clinic that is supportive to often it's just about money isn't it. I'm hoping mine sees that the face that 5 of the eggs didn't survive thaw isn't acceptable but who knows.Totally agree that Donor was pretty much the only solution my clinic have me from cycle 3 then in a 5 th cycle where I come to terms with it this happens
