July 21st I completed my blood work and received my next testosterone shot. My ALP was 63 but my PSA numbers are climbing with a 14.4 result.
I left out of my last post that I have three cancer areas on my spine where the neck area is the worst. I've had radiation on my neck twice at the end of 2019 and likewise the end of 2021. They are hopeful that the radiation destroyed 70-80% of the cancer yet that result is still disconcerting. I can't radiate that area any more.
So, your results from the testosterone may be more optimistic. I have to rely on the scans more than just PSA numbers but it appears that my trial may be winding down. As said earlier at least I've had a break from the other protocols and have enjoyed the feelings of normalcy.

Im glad August is around the corner. I am glad you can get into a trial. I have optimism. I think even after this trial you have other trial options (CAR-T) etc.
Something important to keep in mind is that in the Denmeade JH trials one of the significant outcomes of the BAT / testosterone cycling is that BAT would resensitize the patients to the effects of enzalutamide (Xtandi). Some theorize that patients could alternate between BAT and enza treatment for an extended period of time. This may be an option, rather than moving on to other treatments, at least for a while. This trial showed enza had better rechallenge results than abi. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/326...
