**Sensitive** - BFP 14DP5DT on 4th IVF round with Stage 4 Endo
Hi everyone I hope this post doesn't upset people but I did find these posts gave me hope when I was going through IVF. I've finally got my BFP after 3 years of IVF and one laparoscopy! I did a double transfer on 6th July with two Grade 1-2 embryos (Grade 3 is the freezing standard). This was my 4th

Testosterone range
Hello I am male and had a testosterone blood test recently. The result was 21.3, but it came with no indication as to the range. I am simply told it is "normal". Can anybody help?

Erectile dysfunction meds and side effects
My husband is getting brachytherapy in September and then IG IMRT in October. He is currently on Orgovyx for month two and will be adding zytega next month. Good news is that his PSA has gone to 2 and Testosterone to 9 after a month on Firmagon so meds seem to be doing what are supposed to. Drs have

Hormone therapy for the older generation
My calendar is telling me that I've just completed 12 months of hormone therapy (prostap) and my PSA after radio and brachytherapy when last measured was 0.01. I'm nearly 77 and after 12 months, I'm really suffering from complete lack of energy, just getting out of bed in the morning is hard work, I

A maternal brain hormone that builds bone - Nature - Published: 10 July 2024
[i]This recent research paper in Nature is potentially ground-breaking for the understanding of essential mechanisms involved with bone health. It's findings are related to hormonal changes during the start of mid-pregnancy lactation and early newborn nurturing that could possibly lay the foundation

Low baseline testosterone and link to overall survival in advanced prostate cancer.
My husband’s baseline testosterone levels came back at 202. Is there a correlation between low baseline testosterone and overall survival after treatment for advanced prostate cancer? There seem to be inconclusive studies and often opposite results on the topic. So any insight would be appreciated.

advice please!
Hello. I was diagnosed about a year ago with stage 4 prostate cancer. I was on hormone therapy but that is no longer surprising the cancer. It is in my bones, currently spreading in my pelvic bone and lumbar. I hope to start chemotherapy in the next month. But with my current health I don’t know

six years ago today!
It is early in the morning and I felt that I needed to tell somebody this info. It needs to be people that can really understand….. that’s where the people in this community come in, since you understand what we go through! Six years ago today I was diagnosed with stage 4, 4 plus 3 w over 25 metastases

How many estrogen patches should I use?
I had a nice breakthrough today. 😀 I collected all of the available data on the number of estrogen patches that the studies have used, and plotted the measured serum estradiol level versus total milligrams of estrogen used every week. I was pleasantly surprised when all five of the data points

Fatigue has reached a whole other level, after 10.5 years. Scared it’s narcolepsy….
Hello everyone I hope this finds you all as well as you can be. I’m 10.5 years post diagnosis now. Thought I largely had this disease under control. With meds and pacing and life style etc. But my fatigue has been extremely difficult for the last 2 years and recently I’m worried it’s getting more

Treatment Decision
I am hoping for some guidance for what to do next for my father. My father is in his early 70s, Gleason 8, PSMA and MRI last year showed no spread, but PSA was rapidly raising. He had an organ transplant years ago, and a small stroke, takes anti seizure medications, and has a walking disability due

Has bipolar androgen therapy started treatment?
Recently I have read a lot about BAT. Testosterone treatment? Is it effective or could it be worse? When will it be available for public treatment? Thanks.

T and PSA levels 6 month post SBRT and 1 month post Orgovyx
Prior to any treatment my PSA was 7.8 and my testosterone was 517. After 9 days of Orgovyx my testosterone was 27.17 At six months post SBRT and 1 month post Orgovyx my PSA is 0.19 and my testosterone is 482. Those numbers look pretty good to me. Stay Strong Brothers.

Increased inflammation-flare?
In September last year my rheumatologist asked if while I was at Mayo Clinic I could see an endocrinologist about a possible testosterone issue. That was ok but I mentioned y long term prednisone, and getting off of them. I was put on 20mg hydrocortisone 10 in am and 10 at 3pm. Reduce to 15 after a month

Old Guy Update
I was diagnosed in November 2020 with stage 4 Ductal adenocarcinoma of the prostate. I had EBRT and 24 months of ADT which was terminated in October of 2022. My PSA at that time was undetectable and my Testosterone was also undetectable. It’s now July 2024, and my PSA is 0.2 and my Testosterone is 10
