T and PSA levels 6 month post SBRT and 1 month post Orgovyx

Prior to any treatment my PSA was 7.8 and my testosterone was 517. After 9 days of Orgovyx my testosterone was 27.17

At six months post SBRT and 1 month post Orgovyx my PSA is 0.19 and my testosterone is 482.

Those numbers look pretty good to me.

Stay Strong Brothers.

Congrats and I would agree -- now its important to watch and get your quarterly PSA tests for the next three years (I think that is the routine).

Thanks Murk. My RO says every 6 moths is adequate. I am seeing my uro in August and will get his take.

My Hopkins Urologist recommended six months but I pushed and got 90 days. He also had me set up for the standard PSA tests. Once I graduated to having an RO he ordered the detailed or advance PSA test and for every 90 days.

Congratulations on your low PSA and fast T-recovery!!

I have my first SBRT session today. I expect it will go well.

I will start Orgovyx as soon as the pills arrive. I'm also taking high-dose estradiol gel, to help fight the side effects of ADT, in particular, osteoporosis and (expected) hot flashes. If I can get the serum estradiol levels high enough (i.e., PATCH levels), I will propose stopping the Orgovyx treatment.

Thanks Bob. My T recovery is amazing. Good luck with your first sbrt today. You'll do great. After the first sbrt treatment was the only time I was a little fatigued and I think that was more from stress than from the actual radiation. We got this. Stay strong brother. Happy 4th of July

My SBRT session went well, except I had to get up and pee after they had aligned me and were ready to start doing the irradiation. Clearly, I drank way too much water beforehand!

Now, I know how much to drink (1/2 as much) before the next session to have a "comfortably full bladder". They were very kind about the disruption in their schedule, saying that 'it happens a lot".

I had one session where I had to wait an hour......it was an interesting time trying to keep my bladder full.......

Glad to hear it went well. Please keep us informed as to how you do.

Stay Strong Brother.
