Testosterone Gel or patch, when you have donor?
Hi, If you are using donor egg or donor embryo, do you still need to use Testosterone Gel or patch for a better outcome? I have been reading that these gel or patches are helping with ovulation and egg quality, but when my own eggs are not used, are they still helpful for implantation for instance

Facial hair growth .
I used to be very overweight and used to get extra hair in places where typical for men . Chest , lower back, and face . The doctor told me I had more testosterone than a woman usually has and that might of explained the lack of periods and hair problems . Fast forward I lost a lot of weight naturally

I'm scared to live in my house
Hi everyone. This is my first post on this page and I'm really struggling with something. Lately, I've been in control of my OCD and things have gotten way better so I've spent my time here writing replies to help others with things I used to struggle with. Now I'm the one who needs help. I know this

Testosterone was slowly recovering after stopping all meds 8/10/2023 then started dropping!
It looked like Provenge and SBRT last October had lowered and stabilized my rapidly rising PSA to around 1.8 for three months. Then three weeks ago it mysteriously doubled in a month to 3.1 A new PSMA scan showed four new scattered bone mets appearing since last PSMA scan 3 months prior. Micro mets

Length of Treatment for Orgovyx (Relugolix) versus Lupron and other Longer Acting ADT drugs as Adjuvant to RT or Used for IADT?
I'm curious if anyone has had any discussion with their MO or Radiation Oncologist about having to take a longer course of Orgovyx compared to Lupron or other longer acting ADT drugs because Testosterone comes back so much quicker on Orgovyx? It would seem to me, 6 months of Orgovyx is like the equivalent

Testosterone Gel - Any positive results from use?
Hi everyone, I've just finished a third round of IVF and got a BFN from my only embryo transfer. I've got severe endometriosis and low egg quality seems to be a persistent problem with all my cycles. My fertility clinic have suggested that I use testosterone gel for my next cycle to improve egg quality

Male hormone tests
Hi all, My partner has had his hormone tests back, helpfully they don’t have any measurements on them. They all look fine, apart from testosterone is a bit high. FSH is 10.2, LH 3.6, testosterone is 28 and prolactin 145. His sperm analysis shows low sperm count and low motility. Could the high

Was there ever really a chance for a cure?
When I began the Stampede protocol 1 1/2 yrs ago, it was my understanding that two years of Zytiga/Prednisone and three years of Lupon with radiation to the pelvic area at the 7 mo - 1 yr mark gave a chance for a "cure" under my conditions (3+4 gleason, etc). Now, my non-medical view of things is convincing

After radiation to prostate bed and to one pelvic metastasis, I was on xtandi and Lupton for three years and now have been on "vacation " for a year with PSA of 0.02 and testosterone at 4. No meds at all for last11 months!Had a heart attack in May '23 (which I attribute to covid shots) , doctors told

Latest Thyroid Results
My ‘thyroid journey’ has been an interesting one and now approaching its 4th year. I’m fairly convinced I don’t have autoimmune thyroid disease and relatively confident my adrenals play a big part in my symptoms, however it’s not just adrenals as I’ve tested myself on HC solo and it doesn’t work. Aaanyway

Endo finally tested FT3! Thoughts?
At my last endo appt early Dec, the consultant kept his same stance that my blood tests were all in range and my symptoms were all due to perimenopause. He said there was slight room for a small increase in levothyroxine so ive gone from 125x5/100x2 to 125x6 /100x1 and told me to speak to my gp and

Tri modality conclusion end of ADT nervous
A long journey.. Lutron , bicalutamide .. from start last year in June .. brachytherapy.. in October… 15 booster LiNac in Dec/Jan .. doctor ..in Japan said can stop hormone treatment but he sort of front loaded the ADT before radiation 5 months. My second opinion initially said to embrace adjuvant ADT

Testosterone levels
Hi. Is a testosterone level of 11.2 in a blood test a concern. My gp says no but symptoms are fatigue, muscle loss, low sex drive, brain fog and anxiety. They said no to trt but interested if this is low level or if the nhs won't fund the treatment unless they have to. Thanks

Question in Preparation for pBAT
For those who have experience with BAT: I’m getting ready to start my first 30 day cycle of pBAT this week. But I have a concern about my high SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) level, which is 79 nmol/L. With Eligard ADT in the background, my pBAT program calls for 8 injections of T propionate

Similar question to Ezzedine. PSA rising
March 19 I was diagnosed with Gleason 9 prostate cancer. PSA was 0.9 (it turns out I have a non secreting prostate. I had 37 sessions of EBRT and 3 years zoladex. Whilst under ADT and for 1 year after ADT conclusion my PSA was 0.01 (indecipherable) Then a year ago my PSA was 0.02, then 0.03 and last
