Pluvicto side effects…
… are kicking my butt. I have my third round next week. I’m more fatigued than with chemo, bone pain, can’t eat, constipation — all the stuff. I’m even more concerned now because I was Rx-ed oxycodone and have increasingly been turning to that for temporary physical relief. I’m starting to think maybe

Sorry I have not posted for a while
I am really sorry no one has heard from me for a while. Sadly I have not been too well being struck down with a nasty coughing /flu like virus( not Covid). So last chemo was postponed. On top of this my haemoglobin has dropped to 68! So I am completely exhausted. Blood transfusion tomorrow so hopefully

UPDATE on Abdominal distension.
Some may remember my post a few days ago. I was experiencing some abdominal distension, which I suspected maybe ascites. However, my GP assured me there was no ascites and I probably had diverticulitis.I took the advice of the kind ladies who responded to me. I was admitted to hospital yesterday with

Update on Nuclear Scan and where I am at now.
First: thank you all for the kind support I have received since - Much appreciated. To the Nuclear Scan ordered by my GP for suspect spread from bladder cancer to the bones. I got a call from my GP surgery today telling me Dr wanted to let me know, NO bone cancer found. Thant's one worry gone.

CA125 plus MRI = trouble (despite contrary advice)
Hi All, this is from the Uk - good old NHS! My positivity is slipping! No, I WILL keep a PMA😌 I’m off on holiday soon 😁 but…. The story so far is too long - briefly, 4th line finished end of May. Just got blood results and CA125 has jumped from 23 to 293! Now, the midpoint CT scan showed partial

knee Replacement
Has anyone with MBC gone off their chemo drug ( for me Ibrance) for a month for reasons to strengthen their immune system to prep for surgery? I desperately need knee replacement. My oncologist just completed a body and chest scans and I remain stable as I have for 2 years. I have been given the go

What after Trodelvy?
I was wondering if anyone came back to ormonal treatments or traditional chemo after Trodelvy failed, and had still good results. They say this treatment is the best after CDK4/6 fail for HR+ mbc and there’s liver involvement, but I was wondering if undergoing such a strong therapy could make cancer

Prostate Cancer (stage IV) identified in January and Small Cell Carcinoma (Neuro endocrine) in liver in August. Any suggestions?
In January, my dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer (Acinar Adenocarcinoma Prostate) stage 4, with PSA of 687. PCa had reached bones but not other major organs. He was put on Abiraterone and Degarelix. In August, PSA test showed that PSA had dropped to 2.7 and there was decrease in size and PSMA avidity

Drug side effects
Last month I went from prediabetic to hitting 300 due to the Dexamethasone I've been having to take for my chemo treatments. My oncologist put me on metformin & it brought my level down, but now I've been in & out of the ER. Once with intestinal issues, once with chronic diarrhea & shortness of breath

Advice please
Hi there, my mum was diagnosed with HGSOC stage 4 in October 21. She had debulking surgery followed by 6 rounds of carbo/taxol. She recovered well and continued with Avastin infusions every 3 weeks until May this year when her CA125 started to gradually rise. Her CT scan at this time showed NED and they

Hi, I’m a 69 yr old retired nurse. For the past nine years I have been experiencing all the common symptoms of PV and have had three embolitic events, a DVT, Pulmonary embolism and a cerebral venous thrombosis. I was treated for other things and no specific blood tests were ever done. Things got so bad

Glibobastoma
I was April completely healthy or so I thought. After complaining of headaches which doctors said most likely cluster headaches.. I didn't think much more of it Roll on August I received diagnosis. Stage 4 glibobastoma. This very quickly turned into major brain surgery which left me partially paralysed

Abdominal distension
I was diagnosed with HGSO grade 3 in 2021. Had 4 rounds carbo/plaxi/avastin, followed by debulking. Completed further 2 rounds of chemo. Cancer recurred within 6 months. So I was denied further surgery. I am BRACA-1. Avastin and PARP wasn't effective. Completed carbo/gem in July and subsequent PET scan

Hey guys. Glad to find this group. 81 years old- Diagnosed 7 years ago with a Gleason 9 The Onc's finally scared me into having a radical but I refused to let them take my nerves. They told me I would be gone in 5 yrs. In retrospect wish I hadn't had the radical. Info and options were very hard to come

Choice of CLL Treatment
HI all, I’m 53 and after 5 years I’m nearing the end of W&W and my oncologist is suggesting I start treatment due to expanding nodes in my neck. He’s offered two types of treatment, (1) Ventickax & Obinutuzumb, which as I understand is basically chemo plus drugs for a year that will hopefully put the

History Question for Tall Allen or others.
I am interested in what happened to the Eclipse Clinical Trial of a few years back? I find several old calls for patients to sign up. They say it is set up as a Lu177-PSMA-I&T vs. Lupron (ADT) Trial. Sounds like good science to me but a Political Mine Field to get US FDA approval. I am surprised they
