Hello. Not posted before and feeling nervous! I was diagnosed in 10/22 with HGSOC stage 3 after only a couple of weeks of symptoms. I am being cared for by an amazing team and after finishing 6 rounds of chemotherapy I had surgery on 24/4/23. Complete faith in my surgeon. At surgery they could not remove

Pain at base of abdomen with stage 4 HGSOC.
I’ve had HGSOC stage 4 since April 2021. I was never offered surgery and I’ve just begun 6/8 sessions of Caelyx as third line chemo. I have a pain/ache at the base of my abdomen, it comes when I sit down and stand up and I also have it at night when I wake up to use the toilet. It’s alleviated slightly

just diagnosed two months ago with CLL. Put on wait but getting worse. 50 years of commercial fishing here in Alaska. Exposed to all sorts of chemicals in engine rooms I think that caused it. Any way thinking of doing the O and V treatment I don’t want to do chemo any body have any thoughts on

Oesophageal Cancer
I have had reflux for years and taken Bicarb for years. Years ago I went on a holiday and was told to try a particular dish in Santiago, Chile. It was Congria (eel fish) which was delicious but overdosed with cream. No sooner got back to the Hotel, than I was violently ill. Spent days in bed with

tumour and menopause
I had a seizure June 21 and they found a tumour on my temporal lobe. Had it removed, well as much as they could and they also found another small one where they can’t operate. Found out it was grade 4 but since then had radio therapy and a years chemo pills. Through all this I felt ok with little side

Mammograms
diagnosed HGSOC December 2019. BRCA 2 somatic only. Have had standard chemo, debulking + 2 years of Olaparib and doing well to date. My question is around mammograms: what is the usual checks for ladies with OC history? I would imagine it varies widely however my GP stated it would be as normal, i.e

MPN ET, Hydroxycarbamide & wrist pain
I'm not imagining this. My wrists hurt like hell. I can still do normal things okay, but I'm afraid of twisting motions. The discomfort disrupts sleep every night, though, apart from one night, it does not completely prevent me from sleeping. I have MPN ET. I'm on 12 x 500 mg hydroxycarbamide per
