When will it end?
Is this pandemic ever going to end? I'm due for an ultrasound this coming Wednesday. I may have a bile duct stone. Can't do the ultrasound in a hospital. They are all full with covid patients. And I'm in Florida. Hot spot for covid right now. I will get the ultrasound at an imaging facility. But to actually

Does this point to cirrhosis
Then 2009 he did
endoscopy
found the chronic superficial gastritis suggested reactive gastropathy. Told me to take nexium. And eat better. At that time I lost insurance at job could not go back.

After 2 endoscopies and 1 CT scan, nothing to be found, thank the lord, but I have now been booked in for a stretch, not had one before, I know many of you have and some several, but I am terrified, I'm having general anesthetic, does anyone know why it's general and not sedation?. Also what happens

Letter from Hep Consultant PBC
I have had an
endoscopy
to look for varices which did not go well! My blood pressure shot through the roof and am now on Betablockers! I have a fibroscan on Monday - will that tell me more? I know the disease is rare but I can't believe the total lack of knowledge that I am dealing with.

Tests tests tests!
Feeling really positive so far - heart ct scan didn't find anything wrong with my heart but picked up something in my oesophagus which meant I had an
endoscopy
. That picked up a tiny hiatus hernia which needs no treatment so that's good news.

Crohn's or lupus?
I was never really convinced I had crohn's but capsule
endoscopy
confirmed a stricture. After some time on Azathioprine which caused some liver problems, I was moved to biologics, which has reduced my intestinal pain but not eliminated it.

Total shambles
My so called consultant is nowhere to be found last directive from her was to order
endoscopy
and the banding of varices. I have not had any bleeds. I understand there are drugs I can take and there is a drug that would have allowed my surgery to go ahead.

Worrying upper abdomen pain
Hello, this is my first post and I am a little nervous about it. Where do I begin? I was diagnosed with Diverticular problems 20 years ago. I had upper abdomen pain and urgent diarrhoea at the time. It settled down and I got used to it and carried on as best I could. 8 years ago it changed and saw the

Treatment was
endoscopy
to flush the obstruction then placing a stent to keep the vessel open. What led to this was my barfing during the midday run. I'd barf then rinse with water then continue running. It seemed to work but lately the chest pain is back.

Endoscopy update
As promised here's the update on my
endoscopy
yesterday So they couldn't cannulate me after 4 attempts and eventually had to take the throat spray! That test is not nice..I was constantly gagging and my jaw was killing me..

PA & UC ?
I had the
endoscopy
& colonoscopy via my works insurance as my Dr wouldn't refer me. Apparently the specialist tested me for IF but I cant seem to get hold of a copy of the blood tests ( I have asked). Could I have both PA & UC?

Gastric Endoscopy to check stomach
However yesterday after years of reporting the issue I had a gastric
endoscopy
. It is a little uncomfortable going down the throat but they found an ulcer and ulcers which they confirmed I must have had for years along with other diagnosis for which they gave me inmediate treatment.

Do parietal cell antibodies mean autoimmune gastritis and should you get regular endoscopy?
The
endoscopy
was normal and so a diagnosis of irritable gastritis (I think, from memory) was made with no follow up.
