Abdominal Pain/discomfort

I'm a 29 year old male from the UK who has suffered with abdominal discomfort/pain on the left side/middle of my stomach for 11 months. The discomfort can go away for a few days but then comes back again. I suffer with loose stools and have done for many years. IBS runs in my family as my father and sister both suffer with it. I have had an ultra sound and was told I had a fatty liver and gallstones. I've recently had a throat endoscopy and everything came back normal. All my blood tests urine samples and stool samples have all come back normal. I suffer with anxiety and I am worried this is something serious. I haven't lost any weight nor dose it get worse when I eat food. I don't drink alcohol and I don't smoke. Thank you for any help.

Hi this sounds like diverticulitis to me.

Hi I take it you got your tests done trough your gp? Did they suggest anything else for you....you could try the fodmap diet to try and identify if it's food related. It's not easy but it's helpful for alot of people to see if certain foods are triggers for your symptoms.
