I just recieved a call from my G.I office, although they weren't able to complete my endoscopy, they were able to take a biopsy of my stomach. I was diagnosed with H. Pylori..
What is H. Pylori? Has anyone ever heard of it? Or is it one of those infections that no one ever hears about that just shows up?

Thank you for your reply.. I only ask cause I had never heard of it.. My GI doctor had one of her nurses call and tell me, but they didn't give me any information on what it is..
They just said I'd be put on antibiotics for 14 days and get retested for it before I can get my re- endoscopy done..
Hi, I know a lot about it. Helicobacter Pylori is the cause of many types of peptic ulcers. The previous theory was that bacterium could not live in an acidic environment like the stomach

Relax it is easily fixed with 2 weeks of antibiotics!

I actually just ran into a problem, for some reason my medical was deactivated in November, but my county claims I never had medical through them, now I can't get my medications unless I pay cash, honestly I don't have that kind of money..
