Dreams
I had my HA about 3 years ago and had a stent fitted. Since then I have been fine, but something that puzzles me is that whilst I sleep well I do seem to dream so much more nowadays! Whether its age catching up with me (83)? Although I am fit and walk 2-3 miles every day, or whether I have always done

APS just during pregnancy?
Hi, I'm looking for some advice please! I have two questions... Is it possible to have antiphospholipid antibodies purely during pregnancy? Would the fact that I wasn't prescribed any medication after my son was born indicate that I don't have APS, or are there people who have APS who don't have to take

Having stopped HU on the instructions of A&E and my Haemo still insisting that breathing problems not caused by HU I requested GP to refer me to Dr Claire Harrison and yesterday I had a telephone appointment with her. What a lovely conversation. She acknowledged that HU was not agreeing with me obviously

Worried about Laparoscopy

Fragmin and Eyelea
Hello - I’m unsure if this is an appropriate question to ask here, but I’m due to have a laparoscopy on Monday and have an undiagnosed (proving impossible) blood clotting disorder that likely caused my CRVO. I’m 38. I will be injected with Fragmin and also take daily aspirin - I’m due to have my first

Stent
Hi Last November my husband, 46 was diagnosed with stable angina. He was referred for a CT scan in January. February he had a call from the hospital to say go straight to hospital for a stent. He had 2 stents put in his main artery to his heart. He gets a small amount of chest discomfort. He is on aspirin

Adeyababa with ET
Hello friends, I am from Ethiopia and I take Asprin daily and ferrous sulfate daily. My platelet number was 987, 000 last month when I tested. I was covid positive in February and tested negative after 14 days of quarantine time. I am worried to decide to take my first AZ vaccine. I feel always fatigued

Anyone experienced internal bleeding after taking Ticagrelor and aspirin at the same time?
I was taking these 2 drugs after a heart attack and a stent fitted in 2016 (Ticagrelor only for 1 year) without a problem. After a 2nd stent was fitted in late 2020, I experienced internal bleeding even though I was prescribed lansoprazole to protect my stomach. I stopped taking the aspirin and the

Spotty face
Hi I had a small heart attack in November 2020 and feel great after having a stent fitted. I’m on the usual meds and wondered if anyone has suffered with a really spotty face? I’m 61 and never suffered this badly in my teens! Could it be the meds? They also don’t heal quickly either due to the Aspirin

8 weeks after HA - my story and encouragement
A lot of people here have posted stories of difficulties and problems and it's sad to hear these and my sympathies to all having a hard time. As a bit of a counterbalance and encouragement I'd like to give my own story which I hope is one to let people know that it all can go well after an HA despite

A&E fiasco, palpitations, heart attack, bigeminy beats, back home for dinner.
Hi gang, Just had to put this one down for the historical record. Friday telephone appointment with cardio rehabilitation ( I have never seen anyone since leaving cardiology ward, only phone calls) conversation as normal except I had been having isolated missed heartbeat events, maybe 3 or 4 ocassions

In need of encouraging words please !!!
I had results of blood test yesterday . Platelets creeping up . 916 2 months ago . Now 968 I’m only taking aspirin and LOTS of natural supplements. I feel it’s Time to take the plunge and start conventional meds. But every time I read about limited options I back out . Main symptoms are clamp sensation
