Aspirin report
Friends, I apologize for the typo in my earlier post of today. The aspirin report was issued on April 26, 2022, not on April 26, 2002. I acknowledge and thank both Otterfield and Hunter for their replies.

Should over 75 old patient with ET continue to take baby aspirin?
Hello, I am 78, have ET and on Droxia, with platelets in low 600 range. My hematologist insists that I should continue with daily baby aspirin despite USPSTF report of April 26, 2002 suggesting that it may be reasonable to consider discontinuing aspirin use around age 75 years due to little benefit.

I’m always cold
I’ve just been reading another post about aspirin and blood thinners and it made me realise that the old saying about people who are cold having “thin blood” could be true. Since I’ve been on the usual cocktail of heart meds for a year I’m always cold.

Aspirin to Edoxaban
Has anyone on here had a hip replacement and prior to the op being taken off Aspirin and onto Edoxaban. I had been on Aspirin for AF for quite a few years, I was just wondering why they took me off Aspirin which I was happy with.

Calcium and arteries
My husband had massive heart attack last April and triple heart by pass last November he’s never drank alcohol or smoked, he walks a couple times a week 2/3 mile I know he needs to step up this regime , the drs have said his calcium is low and given him D3 tablets I’m worried that this is going to contribute

CABG Disability Discrimination evidence of effect of not taking meds.
I need to find a source of info for emoyment tribunal that outlines the substantial effects on day to day of not taking the medication prescribed post CABG x3. Eg Beta Blockers, aspirin, clopydodryl. Statins... ETc. We know that's to promote optimum health but apart from saying, he'll probably

APS blood tests and antiplatelet meds
Is it possible to test for APS whilst taking aspirin 75mg and Clopidogrel 75mg or will these meds affect the outcomes of the tests? My Rheumatologist says they will affect the results and I will test negative for APS, my Cardiologist says they won't..... I would appreciate any advice or information.

Tattoos and the ticker
Has anyone had tattoo work done after a heart issue and whilst on asprin or other meds. I have read a few cautions but wondered if anyone has any personal light to shed.

Numb feeling in toes
I’ve recently started having a numb feeling in my toes. I notice it more at night, in bed, but I think it’s there in the daytime too - just not so conscious of it. Toes are not cold. Could it be a side effect of Bisoprolol? (I take 2:5 in the morning / also Ramipril 5mg, Simvastatin 40 mg, Ranexa 375

Bleed at 8+2 - Update: Hematoma around gestational sac
Hi ladies, I’m 8+2 today. I had a scan on 7+3 which showed a lovely embryo measuring spot on and with strong and clear heartbeat. I had another scan yesterday (this time I allowed my husband to attend, I was too scared before) and again it was measuring well and looked line a mini human with head, arms

Anxiety and PV
Hi wondering if anyone knows if stress and anxiety has any bearing on PV. I was recently diagnosed in February. This was after having a horrendous time with GI issues resulting in numerous ultrasound scans, colonoscopy and multiple blood tests which was eventually identified as helicobacter. Had this
