Hi 2rivers, it might just be the aspirin alone causing your brusing? In my case I bruise from just taking the aspirin all the time.

Ah ok thanks, was wondering if that might be the case! Strange cause they sometimes appear without even knocking myself!

Hi thanks yeah would appear to be the aspirin! Guess better to bruise than clotted arteries!

Likely what the others have said about aspirin. I take daily low dose aspirin, and if I cut myself I struggle to stop the bleeding however small the cut, and I bruise very easily. And if my experience is anything to go by you if have any surgery you will be asked to stop taking it before and after your procedure for a few days.

I was wonder about that as I am due to have a CRT-D fitted and they want me to stop the Dapagliflozin a day before and no mention of the aspirin {@75mg} but I must admit that I don’t seem to bleed or bruise any worse than I did before.

Hi 2rivers. From the aspirin? It’s a so-called blood thinner.

I always bruised easily before I was put on blood-thinners, but now the slightest thing will leave a bruise. After my blood test last week I had worse bruises from where the nurse held my arm than I got from the needle
