Palpitations
Hello , new here . Hubby had 3 stents filled around 8 years ago , 3 blockages. He’s recently been having disturbing bouts of unsettling palpitations, these come at random times at rest and while working. He’s on aspirin and 80mg statins . I’ve managed to get him a doctors appointment and was wondering

Exercise exceeding Heart rate calculation
HiMy Rehab sessions have ended now. They calculated my heart rate with all the usual medication Ramipril Ticagrelor Bisoprolol Asprin Atorvastatin to be 120bpm. Now if I exceed that on exertion with exercise is that dangerous or ok. Opinions welcome. I did ask the question in the Rehab but they never

Angioplasty tomorrow...in urgent need of advice asap pls
Hi all angioplasty booked for tomorrow but not sure if I should go ahead with it or just cancel. Reason for procedure: Doc wants to investigate extent of artery blockage in order to prescribe flecanide medication for afib. If blockage is severe he will fit a stent during the procedure. Got quite a shock

Medication cocktail
My heart attack was in October, 4 stents inserted & now on the following cocktail of prescribed medications: Aspirin, Atorvastatin, Lansoprazole 30mg, Ramipril 25mg, Prasugrel 10mg, Nicorandil 20mg & Tildiem 300mg. Was wondering if anyone has found any side effects from any of the above medication.

Clexane and aspirin post 12 weeks
Hi everyone, I'm currently 9+6 and was wondering for those taking Clexane and aspirin, how long did you take those medicines? My clinic is talking about weaning me off everything from week 12 but I feel like I've seen women are taking the blood thinners later? Advice appreciated! Thanks x

BP with COPD and Thyroid
I’ve been on 75 aspirin; bisoprolol 6.25mg daily; Ranolazine 375mg twice daily; and PRALUENT injections from when I had a stent fitted and my bp 145/78 pulse 58 which was great but my bp has gradually increased to 157/85 pulse 67 , I was on Allopurinol before stent was filled but I kept swelling up!

G'day, my ms family. I hope all are well on this glorious Sunday afternoon. It is time to watch something infantile on television and whine about my mouth leaking and my face hurting. Welcome to the world of Trigeminal Neuralgia, at least it just hurts not stabs, it has been worse. Oh well

Raised rash
I’m sorry that I come and go on this site. A lot has been going on. Family health stuff. I was previously on Trelegy and I thought it was wonderful but I did get some indigestion/ reflux and the specialist said Trelegy was a bit stronger than I probably needed and changed my puffer to Flutiform. After

Nosebleeds
I have just joined HealthUnlocked and this is my first post. I have been on ticagrelor, aspirin and the usual other drugs for 9 months after having had an N-Stemi heart attack. I have learned to manage small cuts and minimize all those bruises. But, I was not expecting the two massive nosebleeds I have

Ocrevus Infusion - First Time
I just completed my initial Ocrevus infusions - 1/2 dosage 15 days apart. Sharing my experience as I had a lot of questions and now I have some of the answers. I recommend taking whatever you need to be comfortable to the infusion center. I carried a bag with a healthy lunch, and mints in case I had

Fingerprick test with Medichecks
Morning - I just failed to get enough blood to fill the tube which is a bit frustrating - especially as I'm on aspirin ! I did all of the things I should - drank a litre of water and warmed up, exercised hands, washed them in warm water. I've requested a new kit from medichecks and hope it will arrive
