Hi everyone, I'm currently 9+6 and was wondering for those taking Clexane and aspirin, how long did you take those medicines? My clinic is talking about weaning me off everything from week 12 but I feel like I've seen women are taking the blood thinners later?
Advice appreciated!
Thanks x

I was told by my midwife to double aspirin to 2 x 75mg at 12 weeks to prevent pre-eclampsia (I was only on one before). I have stayed on my Clexane throughout because I tested positive to 3 different repeat MC blood tests (Lupus anticoagulant etc) but when I recently saw the specialist at St Georges he wasn't sure why I was on the Clexane and said it didn't make any sense after 12 weeks!! But as I was on it I might as well stay on it, but that the dose I was on only really last for about 12 hours after taking it so it wasn't really doing anything!!! xx
as others, still on the aspirin 150mg now from 75mg until 28 weeks when I have to have a discussion about injections with consultant according to midwife. I get asked if I’m still on the aspirin every time!
hi, I have been taking aspirin since 12 weeks and clexane since 28 weeks. I’m 30 weeks now and I have to have them for the whole pregnancy and 6 weeks after delivery for the clexane
