Ramapril change to Candersarten?
so after OHS 3 months ago to fix my mitral I was also diagnosed with heart failure EF 45% and put on a regime of pills including bisoprilol, ramaprill and Empagliflozin. At a review my pharmasist he recommended I ask the cardio team change the ramapril to Candersarten. Said has less side effects

How much roughly does metformin reduce a1c levels and how long does it take.
My last a1c reading was 57 about 2 month ago so was put on metformin. I take 500mg in a morning then again in evening. I'm wondering how long would it take to get to prediabetic range if I control sugar, diet eat healthy. Obviously only a rough estimate as everyone is different. Are we talking weeks

AF and Metformin
My dr just put me on Metformin for prediabetes (only matter of time before I get diabetes) do you think there is any correlation between AF treatments not working and almost being diabetic. I wasn’t treated for diabetes before last week.

Metformin digestive problems on a night
Ive been having problems with my stomach not emptying on a night . I've stopped eating at night and make my 5pm meal my last one. Its been happening for a few months now and I've just realized it's since I've started taking metformin. Has anyone else had this problem.

NMN supplement and PC
I need some clarification... David Sinclair talks a lot of NMN, Resveratrol; Metformin, etc... Some unscientific studies say that NAD+ may feed prostate cancer cells... However, when we age NAD+ reduces and it is one of causes of aging diseases.......as Sinclair and others say So boosting

Can the effects of Metformin, for diabetes 2, cause irregular urinary flow effects akin to that of Prostate Cancer side effects?
I have both Diabetes 2 from March 2020, when started taking Metformin, and Prostate Cancer, June 2022. I have had urinary flow symptoms from March 2020, seem to have worsened, could that be indirectly be a side effect of the Metformin?

Spironolactone or Eplenerone
My ejection fraction has decreased from 40-45% to 35-40% so my cardiologist is starting me on Dapagliflozin and then either Spironolactone or Eplenerone. I already take Candesartan. Is either one of those better than the other and are side effects the same? I’ve also read that Spironolactone can cause

Metformin and hormonal resistance
I was looking over my notes from a Snuffy Myers talk at the PCRI in 2014. Here are my notes from the talk: Men with metastatic PCA and on hormonal therapy often become hormone refractive. If PTEN is present, then hormonal failure is almost guaranteed. If PTEN is blocked, hormonal resistance is
