I’m desperate due to near constant ectopics
Another desperate post from me. I have posted in multiple areas in the last two weeks, just desperate for help or reassurance. I have had ectopics to some degree all of my adult life. Usually just the flip flops and then thuds. Worse at obvious times like when ill, stressed or when I was medicated for

Vaccine induced myocarditis
Hi! I’m new here and wanted to share my daughter’s story, get support, and see what’s helping everyone. My 20 year old daughter started having chest pain 24 hours after her second Moderna. She had it on September 10th. She woke the morning after with fever, body aches, and headache. She told me that

Pressure / Stabbing Pain
I've recently had an
electrocardiogram
, echocardiogram, and X-rays - all of which showed nothing untoward. e.g. Not pericarditis. Naturally, I've raised the issue with my GP and the Heart team at the Hospital.

Mysterious chest pain
Hoping for someone experiencing similar issues. I have had excruciating upper left chest pain for over 5 weeks. My Gp has sent me to a and e twice because the symptoms match a heart attack. ECG bloods and chest X-ray all normal. Diagnosed first with Costochondritis and then Bornholm disease. No painkillers

Long wait for appointment.
Thanks for all your replies. I do appreciate the advice. I think I will seek a private consultation with my cardiologist. My heart rate when I was in casualty was around 180. It was brought down to around 100bpm before I was allowed home. Because of the arrhythmia it's hard to get an accurate reading

POTs?
I was wondering if anyone has experience with this? I was ill with a virus back at the start of October. I have been off work sick since then with really bad fatigue that I can’t shift and also a fast heart rate and lightheadedness whenever I stand up or do any physical exertion. I saw my doctor in person

PVCs and ablation
Hi I was booked for an ablation today but after an ECG it was unable to go ahead because there were no ectopics whereas with the Holter monitor I had 22% ectopics. Has anyone else had this experience? Also the cardiologist is recommending Flecainide to try to deal with the ectopics as Bisoprolol hasn

Finding a balance.
I’ve come up against the old argument about effects of long term suppression of TSH. Been on T4/T3 combo for almost 4 months. My old Levo dose for 20 odd yrs was 200mcg a day. Endo insisted I slowly reduce levo when starting T3. I’m now on 125mcg levo and 27.5mcg T3 split over 3 doses daily. NB I’m prescribed

Reviving an old idea
There are the two things, all of us, AF sufferers, often think about - the root cause of AF and the triggers of AF. It is strange that the patients themselves have to try to decipher the puzzle of the disease, and that medical science has no clue what it is all about. With all the modern means of research

Given all clear but still unsure of something pending
Hi so I was taken to hospital the other day with the following symptoms: Heavy uncomfortable feeling in the central upper chest, breathless , aching in the upper back more central than anything. I am a 53 year old lady generally in good health and I just don't feel "right". I still have the heavy uncomfortable

PoTS and Long COVID - Dysautomnia
Those who already receive the AA Newsletter may already have read this very interesting article. All I can say is that it resonates with my experience of COVID and I suspect that it also was the reason for the ECG which landed me in A&E last week. A must read for anyone who has had COVID and arrythmias

Update on my ongoing pericarditis after second Moderna vaccine
Please see my original post for new members. For those who have seen my original post and following my progress. Today I saw the cardiologist and my ECG has always shown an elevated ST segment which indicates pericarditis and my previous echo showed normal heart function but the pericardium was inflamed

Getting off Verapamil
After 2nd ablation for SVT, I had AFib episodes. Cardiologist said I could take Verapamil and if this did not stop Afib, could add Flecainide. I was told for the SVT ablation blanking period 1 week. I concluded 3 months more appropriate and decided to take 180 mg Verapamil sustained release once/day
