Echocardiogram results...a likely problem?
Hello everyone. Yesterday I had a letter about the results of my echocardiogram. I would like to share what was written because I don't know how to feel about it and maybe someone who has had similar results can shed some insight on what it means. "Limited echo images were available due to poor windows

Evening folks, I had a three or four days of feeling pretty rough about two weeks ago, after four days I called 111 who sent me an ambulance, i was taken to hospital where after tests they told me I'd suffered a mild heart attack.....I guess I knew I had, I was diagnosed with angina 8 years ago. My angina

Recently diagnosed Long QT Syndrome - I am terrified.
I have recently been diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome (February) and was told to wean myself off Citalopram, which I have been taking since 2003. The withdrawal symptoms have hit me like a wrecking ball. I am now 9 weeks clear of Citalopram and today had another ECG. I expected to be told the Long QT

The ongoing unknown
Following flutters I had every minute, that lasted for days before disappearing, I've had quite a bit of discomfort in my chest and my left arm, shoulder and middle of back. The paramedics came out after I phoned 111 for advice when my resting heart rate noticeably increased from the usual 60-70 to nearly

AFIB and acupuncture
This might be one of much interesting things for one or the other of us, maybe especially for those who want to wait a little longer for even gentler and safer variations of ablation techniques, which are already visible on the horizon... The evidence from clinical experiments of acupuncture given at

Kardia portable ECG device
What was recommended by my cardiologist was AiveCor's ECG device?clinicians.alivecor.com/our... He recommended it over the apple watch ECG. I haven't purchased yet, wondering if anyone else heard or used one of those units.

Worst episode ever, waiting for answers
Hello all. I'm 24 years old and in the middle of my heart journey. About 2 years ago I noticed that my heart was pounding quite a lot when doing any mild exercise such as walking or going up flights of stairs and I also got other symptoms such as loss of vision, lightheadedness etc. I take Propranolol

Angina help please
Hubby had HA Oct 2016, 4 stents and all the normal drugs. He has been fine until today, he had chest pains and looked very white. I went straight for 999, advised to give him aspirin and use his GTN spray, ever been diagnosed with Angina but years ago given spray in case of need. BP 240/120, ECG looked

First appointment with cardiologist..what questions to ask
A couple of months ago, after having chest pain/pressure and shortness of breath I went to gP, who said an ecg was showing I had had a heart attack ? I then when to a&e who said it looked more like myocarditis as a result of covid. I wasn’t given any medication but referred for an echo/mri scan as outpatient

Ablation procedure
On Thursday 17th June had my first Ablation and Cardioversion due to Atrial Tachycardia. Had abnormal ECG on arrival. First time that's ever happened. Well and truly bruised in the groin area. I am a little confused because of being affected by the sedation they could not induce the tachycardia but

Hi everyone, 3 years since my last post so I thought I would update you all. So no real changes in how I feel ( still refereeing football) and feeling well. But each 6 month check up I’m told that the fibrosis and steatosis are getting slightly worse so I was recommended to apply for a current clinical

nsure where to go from here (palpitations)
Hi, suffered dizziness for a year, nothing apparent on bloods, then last Saturday, out of nowhere, during a chilled activity, I start getting palpitations, roughly one every minute. They lasted 2 days, leading up to the point of constant, taking my breathe away so went to A&E. By the time they'd taken
