Coming off Flecainide (for PVC's) and possible Ablation for Teenager
Hi! I would really appreciate if you would please read my bio for the back story to this question as it has a history, but I will give a brief overview below. My daughter (14) is going to be weaned off Flecainide soon to see if her heart has 'fixed' itself after suddenly starting to misbehave in April

Do you live in the US?
We are looking for US candidates to participate in a study? If you are aged over 22 and live within the Chicago\Milwaukee region of Illinois – we need your help! The American Institute of Therapeutics is undertaking a study to show that a wrist-watch and a floor scale can detect, atrial fibrillation.

Can anyone give me some info please?
I have been waiting for a heart monitor since February, and when I enquired about it, apparently the GP had forgotten to ask about it. I now have an appointment to get one on 22nd August. I was feeling that I was going to faint, so she cut my atenolol from 50mg to 25 mg, which has helped, but heart still

Cyclist and Runner Exercising with Persistent Atrial Fibrillation - also considering an ablation
Hi – I originally posted the following (or at least a similar version) through the BHF link but didn’t get many replies. I would really like to hear from anyone who is a keen cyclist and/or runner who has developed persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) and either decided to live with it rather than try

LBBB Update
I posted as a new member a couple of months ago about my diagnosis of Left Bundle Branch Block. My Cardiologist insists there is an underlying problem to cause this so to date I’ve had an EKG which shows no real problems, just a small leak and slight enlargement of ventricle, nothing to be concerned

Hi to you all. I have had a couple of trips to A&E end of June 2022 and beginning of July 2022 as an ECG at my GP surgery showed narrow complex regular tachycardia. I was seen by a Cardiologist who said I had Paroxysmal Atrial Flutter. I had bloods taken which were unremarkable" . I was prescribed

Ablation update and some good news re our NHS
Thought I would give an update on my ablation and subsequent treatment. As already posted, on 5th July I had a long awaited ablation in effect this was a second ablation in a period of about 7 years. This time it was s cryo ablation so just isolated the pulmonary veins. After an initially good 2 weeks

The potassium loss is getting worse (I am currently on 6 sando-K tablets a day to stabilise me at around 3.5). I am under an endocrinologist to try and get
