Pins and needles feeling
It all started on Tuesday. I had a bloated feeling and thought it was trapped wind? Took a Windeze and it seemed to help that feeling but then got a tingling in my face which was weird this then progressed to my shoulder's, arms and chest. It then seemed to ease and I just carried on. It was an effort

Walking in rhythm
Hello, long time lurker on here and thank you to all the regular posters who keep us lurkers so well informed. Sorry in advance for the long post :) My afib story started in Feb 19 and like all new Afibbers I was scared and ignorant of the condition. I am very lucky to have no symptoms and don't

I feel let down by the medical professionals
I had a heart attack January 2020 triple bypass followed this. One phonecall from cardiology 3 months after it and an ECG in A&E last year nothing else. No one seems concerned about the pains in the chest neck and shoulder. The getting breathless just sitting there. The cognitive issues and the constant

Worsening symptoms after Angioplasty for chest pain
Right coronary artery was stent 21/10/22, Left Coronary artery is to be managed with medication. Since that date my symptoms have worsened, now suffering with numbness, tingling and burning sensation in legs and arms, face flushing and tingling, palpitations any time my pulse goes 60bpm (an ongoing

Can you have multiple heart 'problem' types at the same time and what's the significance?
So far on my list over the last few years, I've had Atrial Fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, Sinus Bradycardia, Premature Atrial Contractions, (bigeminy, trigeminy) and Premature Ventricular Contraction, Right Bundle Branch Block and now it looks like potentially Atrioventricular nodal reentry

Getting back to work . HGV medical requirements.
Hi , after suffering angina and meds not working I finally had a stent fitted in my Ramus artery. It was right on the junction so it was a tricky procedure, it's was attempted with just balloon and then a cutting balloon and my artery collapsed 3 times when the wire was pulled . Finally a stent was

CT-Angiogram tomorrow
I had my follow up with the cardiologist yesterday. He’d reviewed the echo which did show slightly leaky valves (but he said this is subclinical) He agreed that the next step would be either a stress echo or a CT angiogram. The wait for this would be around 4 months. I retired last April after working

Hi all, new member here I’m a 24 year old male. I was recently admitted to A&E 2 months with a stabbing pain in my chest and back, I had an ECG and blood tests, my ECG showed the presence of Q waves and there was no troponin, an X-Ray did show that my left atrium was slightly enlargened, fast forward

1 step forward 2 steps back
Hey Everyone After the happiness of Saturday and my parkwalk, I spent a lot of yesterday very breathless and tired. So I spent most of it in bed. In the evening I got a real bad pain in my chest, so I spent last night in A&E. ECG was normal so we don't really know what it was. I'm at home today I decided

O2 saturation and chemo
I finish my last does of paxlovis and starting to feel just slightly human. I thought the 4th dose of doxytaxel was horrible but it seems it is largely due to the covid. I ended up spending the whole day in the ER (with travel) for no reason. I has having widely fluctuating O2% and pulse I don't remember

Nicorandil reaction
Recently went to hospital for chest pain, all test ok on paper, never had a bad ecg even with heart attacks. They put me on Nicorandil 10mg twice a day. I had been on it before, cardiologist took me off it 20mg twice a day after last stent in Feb. This time I had massive headaches, for 2 days, nothing

So Confussed
Hi I'm a complete newbie. After over 2 years of palpitations and only an ECG detecting an irregular heartbeat during the height of covid, having never seen a GP, or having a blood test or being placed on blood thinners, then being told that 1.25 Bisoprolol was all I needed during a phone appointment

is it normal not to see a cardiologist with AF?
Sorry, folks, I keep coming back with more questions! 8 weeks ago I ended up in A&E with a self limiting episode of AF. I think it lasted about 45 mins. It was the weekend and I saw the A&E docotor and the on call consultant from the medical side (who wasn’t a cardiologist). I was started on Bisoprolol
