ASKING FOR A REPEAT ECG FOR POSSIBLE PACEMAKER
I am new to this site as have just joined the BHF. My first name is Stephen. I had an ECG last November. This was done through a 'spiderflash' recording monitor for a continuous period of 7 days, with 3 attachments to the chest. The outcome of this was that they said from the ECG recording that there

Palpitations
I have hypothyroidism and am taking 75mg thyroxine. When I lie down and in bed I get palpitations, it wakes me up where my heart is beating fast, sometimes I get it when I eat and it catches me out during the day. I also get very bad indigestion but don’t know if I have low or high acid. I would be grateful

Post Cardioversion Issues
Thank you to all those who helped and advised over weekend - saw consultant tonight - ecg shows some delayed heart actions/extra beats but not AF thankfully but we’re keeping meds the same at moment and maybe a new ambulatory BP check as if stop Flecainide could go back in to AF, reducing or stopping

Digoxin added to Bisoprolol
Have been taking 3.75 msg bisoprolol for past 3 months with excellent results of hr of 61/63 and it was being considered whether to reduce slightly because of side effects. Suddenly my heart rate increased to 120 over a couple of days. ECG showed tachicardia but blood pressure excellent, full blood count

Help please trying to understand this ECG
Hi, I’m hoping someone can shed some light on the following. Looking through the previous ECG’s I’ve taken with my Kardia I found by accident that if I download one of these there is a sheet that gives a graphical view of my heart rate over the 30 seconds. I then found on many of my past ECG’s that for

Told I can't have ablation because I have an enlarged heart.
Diagnosed with afib, enlarged heart and possible angina. First consult with cardiologist was three weeks ago and he informed me that I could not have ablation because I have an left atrial enlargement....he said it would not work. In letter send to me after consult in addition to the left atrial enlargement

Alternative to a Fitbit Watch ? - Advice Please
I currently have a Fitbit watch which I found so helpful in recording the normal parameters of heart rate, health metrics, steps, exercise, calories etc and in particular sleep patterns. All was fine until I went into persistent AF such that my Fitbit no longer records sleep patterns plus a number

Chest pain in one spot off and on.
I have panic disorder for 26 years and he lately I’ve been to 3 different ERS and the do ekg x ray and blood test for the hart. Everything comes back perfect. Nothing out normal bp is good. But still dealing with this. I got a stress test ordered for may 2. But they seem to think I’m wasting my time.

First appointment with arrhythmia service.
Hello. I’m 7 wks into my AF journey, having had an episode early March and new to the forum. I’m trying to learn as much as I can. When experiencing my episode where I was tachycardic and diagnosed from ECG with AF , I was discharged on the same day with bisuprolol 2.5 and rivoroxaban 20 mgs daily.

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place or not, and apologies if not. But I had a hurriedly fitted pacemaker on 1/2/22. Took a bit of getting my head around as I'd been to the doctors regarding near faint episodes over the last three years, my heart issues were never captured on an ecg and so I was
