Just to say thank you
Thank you all for replying to my query on heart attacks and stents, I do feel much better now and we should hopefully see a Dr tomorrow. My husband spoke to a nurse yesterday about the echo cardiogram and it seems his heart is currently working at 41% effiency, the 3rd stent should improve this, they

Heart attacks and stents
Firstly; I know I need to speak to a qualified doctor, but until I can manage to track down my Husband's doctor I am a little stuck, Tuesday morning, my Husband had chest and arm pains which he kept to himself, I came home from work and he still didn't mention it. Few hours later he was in substantial

Update after developing AF
I had an
echocardiogram
, nothing much showed up on the results, then I got my first cardioversion which so far has been successful and I feel much better (still taking 5mg Bisoprolol and anti coagulation tablets).

Echocardiogram Report
My test results came back as normal “thank God”. I still feel like crap & still have chest pain. No high blood pressure or anything. I’m completely lost & don’t know where to go from here. Could aniexty & depression really make someone feel this awful!? Sometimes I’m even short of breath...the other

Afib on Ibrutinib
He didn’t know anything about Ibrutinib but said I need an
echocardiogram
to check for heart damage. I have had cll since 1991 but never have had any heart problems. Blood pressure on low normal and no cholesterol problems. Wondering if anyone has had this and what medicine after Ibrutinib

Clot in Artery and Hole in the Heart
However, having a transoesophogeal
echocardiogram
today, the cardiologist said the top right of my heart looked normal but had seen a few other things that he wanted to check out with a cardiac MRI. I’m confused and worried and just wondered if anyone had been through similar.

Still not sure whether my T3 is OK ....
Hello again, Am about to get an
echocardiogram
and a CATscan on my heart, but whilst awaiting reporting on these, I intend to get more bloods done privately, as am unsure whether my cardiac symptoms are simply a result of undermedication.

I decided to take videos and photos of this so the doctor believes me and I found a good doctor who listened to me and they sent me for a chest x-ray to see if all was okay after the shadow on my lung and that has gone and came back normal, but he now wants to do a

My test results and symptoms interpretation request please
Very long story short, after 10 nights in for observation with many blood tests, multiple 24 hour ECG's, an outpatient 24 hour ECG in December, and an
echocardiogram
in January 2019 (which shows "mild symmetrical heart dilation" but otherwise all aspects seen were normal), Cardiology still can't find

Scared, so many questions!
He also confirmed I have AFib and recommended I have an
echocardiogram
and more bloods. He also advised that if both are normal no further checks or tests would be needed but agreed that I need blood thinners. She also said my bloods had come back as normal.

Supra ventricular tachycardia
I also had an
echocardiogram
which showed no abnormalities. My GP put me on 180mg Tildiem (Diltiazem) a day at the end of January, I have been getting more palpitations (svt) and also a pounding, rapid heart beat, mainly when in bed rested.

Junes LV was 40%, had another
echocardiogram
in November 2018, no results showing yet on the NHS computer, which is worrying.

Afib and COPD management
Hi, my husband has moderate COPD and has just been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, we are still waiting for
echocardiogram
results. I just wondered if anyone else suffers from Afib with COPD and if so, do they still take oral steroids during an exacerbation.

Bad news
Cardiologist suggested that I have a us stress
echocardiogram
done. Prior to this I was able to spend time in gym daily and I was able to do aerobics, steps yoga etc. I never got the pain when I did these exercises. Only when I jogged I had the pain.
