ICD - DVLA rules says LV EF >35?
Will the cardio order an
echocardiogram
? The cardio sort of brushed off our concerns about being ‘stranded’ with a “oh it’s only a month unless it’s a cardiac arrest situation in which case it can be up to a 6 month ban”.

On one of my recent stays in hospital I was given an
echocardiogram
, it was unusually quiet and the guy needed someone to practice on 😃. As well as heart he looked at my spleen, gall bladder, kidneys, lungs and liver.

Actual appointment face to face with an actual human!
After being sent to A&E last November by GP, diagnosed with AF and discharged with meds, then an
echocardiogram
beginning of March, I have an actual appointment booked with an arrythmia nurse end of July! Still a little bit in shock that I'll get to talk to someone!

So I got my results of the
echocardiogram
a couple of weeks ago. Then we went away in the caravan so I could ignore the results. Got back, read my results and I felt my shoulders flump.. I have signs, they reckon, that I have a high possibility of Pulmonary hypertension.

Anxiety disorder and all day breathlessness.
I have had a 24hour ecg and a
echocardiogram
. The doctors said that my heart was fine. What I want to know is would anxiety disorder cause the light headedness and breathlessness? Any information would be great thank you.

Long QT anyone?
I’m now booked to have a 24hr ECG and on an unrelated medical matter regarding an enlarged liver I’m having an
echocardiogram
done (my liver issue can be caused by right side heart failure) I’m sort of hoping they find an answer even if scary because I feel like rubbish and this constant yo yoing between

Right Bundle Branch Block(RBBB)
I have an
Echocardiogram
set for this coming Tuesday. I wonder if this could be a cause for my feeling dizzy and weak at times as well as my endurance seems shot to h***. Try as I am able to, I am struggling to increase my endurance.

Update -Having a laugh- Left Ventricular Hypertrophy
Hi guys, so 3 days ago I’ve received the results from Heartscan , a private
echocardiogram
that is in Newcastle. The results was funny, confusing and annoying, because I’ve been going trough so much stress when I was searching what I have and also for when I found what I have.

Adrenal Insuffiency?
They wanted me to see a cardiologist the next day for an
echocardiogram
, which showed I had extra fluid around my heart so they diagnosed pericarditis, inflammation of the bag of fluid the heart sits in. Could be viral or bacterial.

I was checked out 2.5 years ago for similar problem and also had an
echocardiogram
which was normal for age… I am 66. Doctors don’t seem unduly concerned but I am worried because they have increased in number. Your comments would be appreciated.
