Right Bundle Branch Block(RBBB)

I have now added a Cardiologist to my list of doctors. During a pre-op checkup for surgery on my Left knee, It was discovered that I have a complete RBBB. My research shows that Eligard/ ADT can be a possible cause. Is anyone else dealing with this? I have an Echocardiogram set for this coming Tuesday. I wonder if this could be a cause for my feeling dizzy and weak at times as well as my endurance seems shot to h***. Try as I am able to, I am struggling to increase my endurance.

I too have a right bundle branch block , from an older ekg . I bought the Kardia home ekg and my QRS train looks like an etch-a-sketch. My wife’s textbook perfect. I sent it in to both my oncologist and pcp and basically since I’m 77 years old and my initial diagnosis Hospice ….. they aren’t going to address it. Said that considering, it hardly deserves space on my list of concerns

ADT makes most of us tired, weak and dizzy …. I’m not a doctor but I’d look to the ADT as a major source of those SEs. Of course, close coordination with your medical crew, first , is “ always “ your best bet.

Last year I was getting dizzy and light headed. Took a stress test and flunked. Showed pre ventricular contractions. I had a cardiac cath and found 50-60% blockage in a peripheral artery. All main ones were good. I was on Lupron & Zytiga for 5 years. Who knows if that contributed more than genetics(Mom, Dad, Grandparents) ? I'm now taking a beta blocker and baby aspirin.

I also have right bundle branch block. I've had it for at least 20 years. My cardiologist tells me a lot of people have it and its inconsequential. The heart has a lot of conductive and regulatory tissue, so it doesn't affect anything. It has nothing to do with your fatigue.

pretty much the same with me … mine hasn’t been a problem that I know of. My medical team isn’t concerned about it , at all.

I've had that condition for a number of years. It turned up when given an EKG prior to a surgery. My Cardiologist was not too concerned about it.

I was just keying in a reply here, and the input got away from me as entering. Hopefully not showing. Anyway, was saying I am LBBB and was when checked for my robot RPP back some 11 going 12 years now at age 53. Surgeon then said inconsequential and went ahead. Had colonoscopy since in 2022 chasing prostate met, anesthetist said you are like an old MG (British car of course with bad electrics), fit body and heart, just shot electrics. Could kill you, but chances a million to 1 it will actually get you before stage 4 prostate cancer does, so forget it.

My mom had that show up on her pre-surgery ekg prior to rotator cuff surgery this year. She met with cardiologist and had further testing that showed nothing else was going on. They dmsaud she may have had it for a long time ir it may be her age (78). But her surgery went great and no further issues.

it’s not uncommon and doesn’t explain the way you feel.

I will be seeing my primary MD in July. I will have to see what my physical shows: labs, etc. I find I can't jog( knees cannot handle it), and walking fast is ok for short distances. I haven't tried being on a stationary bike due to the implant of the AMS-800. Somehow I need to bring up my endurance.

I too have RBBB. Never been an issue. 77 years old. Cardiologist has always said that I would have a normal life span.
