Flecanide daily
I was diagnosed with PAF in 2018 and was originally on Bisoprolol now changed to Nebivolol which suited me better. I was taking 5mg of Nebivolol with Flecanide as a PIP which kept my episodes to 2 or 3 a year. I had to drop the dose as started to deal faint, off balance and dizzy last summer and it

Second ENT appointment yesterday...better than the first one!
Good Morning Everyone, Had my second ENT appointment yesterday. This is one I ended up arranging myself, as my first appointment was uneventful and disappointing. My GP advised I get a second opinion from a different Consultant...so this is what I did. The Consultant actually listened to everything

Good morning my angels. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I started down reg (syranel nasal) at the start of April and have had scans every 2 weeks since then. Scans have shown a cyst (prob from my fresh collection in March), my lining isnt responding to the down reg as it should and

osteopath
Hope. I’ve been on here before. Symptoms include nausea, headaches, vertigo/dizziness, top of head tight and of course tinnitus. I’ve been to two ENT specialists, dentist to check TMJ and audiologists. All couldn’t find anything wrong. A friend referred me to a osteopath. Never heard of them before

Vagus Nerve Stimulation VNS for FND?
If there is something wrong with your vagus nerve it affects heart rate, irregular movement, dizziness and nausea. Doctors have told me that sometimes what I described is like a vasovagal response. So I wondered if the vagus nerve was treated maybe it will help my FND symptoms. Has anyone had that Vagus

PMR Flare up after Covid?
I am 67 years old and was diagnosed with PMR in 2016 and have been on Pred since then. I have managed to taper to 3.5 mg and whilst I’ve tried to get below I’ve not been successful and so have accepted I need to stay at this dosage to more or less live without symptoms on a daily basis and do the activities

Tinnitus from microsuction - temporary?
About a month ago, I started getting rather severe tinnitus in my left ear as a result of ear wax. I had decided to wait for an appointment until my left ear became almost completely blocked, so I panicked and had an appointment with a private doctor to clean my wax. They used microsuction and it didn

Dapagliflozin
Hi, All. Been pre pandemic since I've been here! Just before that started, I had an av node ablation done in early January 2020. I've felt great ever since. Highly recommended, no pain or discomfort during the procedure and it only took 45 minutes. My latest news is that I've been put on Dapagliflozin

PCOS and Acupuncture
Morning all I went to my very first acupuncture treatment yesterday and came out feeling a lot more relaxed. I'm not sure if it's me just over thinking it but I feel whatever it is that's been done it's really relaxed my body. I was told my left hand side of the bodies hormones are low and that's why
