I have tinnitus caused by an attack of vertigo about six months back , I also lost the hearing in my left ear and about twenty percent of my sense of balance , so far I have been concentrating on getting my balance back and have ignored the tinnitus and its working . there is no cure for tinnitus so you have to learn to live with it and teach yourself to treat it as if its not there , its hard but it works , like people with other afflictions , they learn to live with it. good luck and I do hope you get well , very soon.
Yes I have that too and the best thing you can do is ignore it the more attention you give it the worse it is I sleep with the tv on as it is worse when everything is silent don’t let it get to you
Hi sun_1234. Read your problem with anxiety/ tinnitus. Have you been to see a specialist about this issue. I was curious as to the cause, as I’ve heard of a similar condition, though I believe it can often be the anxiety can be the cause of tinnitus. I don’t know how serious it is, and am aware of the several possible causes. Though if you are stressed a lot , it can make the tinnitus worsen, and possibly picked up from within the limbic system, which can in return cause You more stress or focus on on tinnitus, making a cycle if you like, for worsening of the symptoms. In a majority of cases, it will subside in time. Whether you find this any help at all, I don’t know, but I hope you get better soon. And try and stay as calm and relaxed ( less stress) as possible. All the best 👍pad46
