agus nerve stimulation
Has anyone tried Accupuncture to stimulate the vagus nerve? I read about a double blind study that accupuncture seems to have a positive effect. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I can’t tell when I have an episode of AF so have to rely on my Apple Watch to check what is happening. Has anyone had

Leg Pain
Hello...I am wondering if any of you have experienced not just the restlessness of RLS but pain? I have been diagnosed with RLS -my mother had it- but my calves/shins ache and throb at night. I wonder if it even is RLS or something else that I should have doctors look into. Gabapentin made the pain

Nerve pain after acupuncture
Hi ladies, I know this isn't a normal question for here but I know so many of you have acupuncture so thought it was worth an ask. I've been having fertility acupuncture for years and after my transfer I had my usual follow up acupuncture. Hopefully you're familiar with the needle they put in the underside

Hi all, Apologies for the long post. I'd like some advice please regarding jaw clenching when on Levothyroxine. Does anyone else have this issue? I am currently on 87.5mic Teva levothyroxine. I have asked my pharmacy for a different brand to see if it helps, but they tell me that they can only get

Acupuncture
My medication protocol/journey for RLS has been rocky, to say the least. Was hoping someone had some experience with acupuncture, since I’ve exhausted most drug possibilities. Any tips/advice?

Thank you
I am overwhelmed with gratitude to all those that have responded to my post yesterday . I responded individually to the first people ( I’m not sure how to private message , I’m a bit crap with technology and my texting thumb is numb 🤦🏻♀️) But thank you all . I have had both psychology sessions

To get signed off, or not to get signed-off, that is today's question!
Hi all - I posted something similar to this before, and I had lots of varied answers, but as my first round of IVF just failed I am wondering what I could do differently next time. I work in an unsupportive, busy Investment Banking environment, and I'm the only HR person so I cannot talk to myself ;

Should we do a DNA fragmentation and semen microbiome test if above average normal sperm parameters?
Has anyone found DNA fragment station and/or semen mictobiome trstingbto flag anything when semen analysis was ok? My husband last had a semen analysis at the end of 2022, the results were reported as outstanding and above average, as was so when we had a test done in 2019 prior to starting IVF. My

Acupuncture/Amiodarone... a study
Many thanks to everyone, I have benefited so much from your posts ... so helpful For me AF started in '22, overnight in A & E on Christmas Eve ... wild pulse and no idea what was going on. The hospital report didn't reach the GP, no diagnosis, no mention of AF. For some months I had 'palpitations

Hello All,We went through our first cycle of IVF in Jan and we are planning our next round in July. The first round we went in very naively and rather blind in terms of body/mind preparation. I have tried to guide myself as much as I can but I wondered what you could add to what I am doing. I am on

Influenza A while on W & W,-- the price for not wanting a vaccine
I decided to put my pride and lack of articulate writing skills aside to share a my learning experience . It was in Jan of 23 when I was told over the phone of my CLL Dx. I walked around in a panicky daze. First I went to Mr Google. (BIG MISTAKE !) I started clearing out the house and giving things

Auricular acupuncture to stimulate the vagus nerve.
I find the idea of a therapy that helps to balance the vagal nerve very attractive as stress and anxiety are a major issue for me, my symptoms are very responsive to stress and my most unpleasant OFF symptom is dystonia of the diaphragm affecting breathing As for auricular stimulation, my GP is trained

Insertional Achilles tendinitis
Has anyone got/had this and any stories of recovery and what worked? I've not run since last July when I felt a niggle in my ankle which then developed into pain when first getting out of bed, moving around and driving. I went to the see a MSK podiatrist for some inserts, he did a quick exam and ultrasound
