I am overwhelmed with gratitude to all those that have responded to my post yesterday . I responded individually to the first people ( I’m not sure how to private message , I’m a bit crap with technology and my texting thumb is numb 🤦🏻♀️)
But thank you all .
I have had both psychology sessions at the beginning on line and also EMDR ( for trauma ) but that was during chemo and such an effort with minimal benefit !
I’ve also tried acupuncture for the neuropathy but wasn’t convinced it made much difference .
Today I have sent an e mail to our local hospice asking whether I qualify for any of their support .
I will also try calling Anna next week .
I have an appointment with a pain specialist on Monday .
So everything was bleak yesterday and it’s still a struggle me v brain and cancer but today is better than yesterday .
Hubby is back tomorrow after 10 days away and although it’s hard on him I feel ‘safer ‘ when he’s around . My sister is a great support on the phone but lives in Ireland .
Just been for my daily walk , evenings are better for me too . I can totally lose myself in tv dramas at least !
Thank you all again so much . Xxx

Bless you, it can be hard to reach out at times, but when you do it's so worth it. We are all here going through various struggles, we may not really know each other, but we are sharing a very challenging experience & we can pick each other up for sure. That has made me smile this morning 🥰
That’s so good to hear. Don’t hesitate to give us a shout (or a whimper!!!!) next time. I hope that some of the leads you’re following have a positive outcome for you. xx
I also do some tv bingeing when needed. I'm in Oz & subscribe to Brit Box. Love it. Also, just a thought, I write a lot. Journaling your thoughts sometimes helps, even try a bit of poetry or silly limericks. No-one else has to ever see what you write. I've read back things I'd written a few years back & my own words have been very helpful. Think more about the journey & less about the destination. I'm glad I've been reminded that I have a "use by date" because it makes me appreciate every day that I have on this planet & the time I have with the people I love. Also I like the challenge of beating the statistics.😉💋
