recently my e.s.a. benefit was stopped and forced to go on e.s.a. I was sent on a course to start online. I found I was reading sentences over a d over again and nothing seemed to sink in. I just couldn't concentrate let alone getting a lot of questions wrong as stuff I was reading obviously hadn't digested. I can't concentrate and take information in. how am I expected to work. i am appealing. I haven't applied for p.i.p. as e.s.a. was stressful enough. this is only one symptom amongst many. I didn't realise I was so bad. I used to have an excellent memory. I am so forgetful, clumsy. often tripping up/bumping into things and knocking things over which I think maybe due to the heavy lead feeling in my arms and legs

Confusion, difficulty in articulating thoughts and memory impairment are common symptoms that are associated with lupus; it is referred to as ‘brain fog’ or ‘lupus fog’ by people with lupus. do I need to get in touch with the rheumy nurse helpline as I feel there is a lot I didn't explain to the specialist in my first appointment. feel I am losing my mind. thanks again. Will e mail you later. x

Yes, it would be ideal to speak to your rheumatologist/nurse to ensure that you receive the correct advice and treatment (if required).
