balance issues
I have had glaucoma for years, last December 2023i had cataracts done to help with opening angles, then in March I had SLT & my pressures went down to 13&17 but since then my balance is not good, it hasn’t been good for long enough but worse now, could it be to do with when I am in shops with the light

Loss of Sharpness after Eylea injection
Hello folks. My name is Michael. For years I was receiving shots of Eylea by a doctor that I trusted completely. About 3 years ago I moved and it was just too far to travel to continue seeing this great doctor. I then continued Eylea injections with a new Retina man. On about the 4th visit I noticed,

latanoprost and headaches
hi I’ve been using latanoprost eye drops for 7 weeks now, I have suspicious discs and a family history of glaucoma ( mother) and when prescribed my pressures were 22 in both eyes. For the last week I have woken with a headache, and I’m wondering if this could be related to the eye drops, as this is

How long shall I trial codeine before giving up on it?
Hi all RLers, I started codeine beginning of April. First 8mg slowly to 30mg, which made me sick but I got 6hrs without RL and slept. Down to 16mg, back to 30mg without side effects this time. The trouble is I only get 1 good night on the increased dose before the RL is back as usual. I am hoping

Sobriety and preparing withdrawal from Pramipexole
Hi RLSers, I have been struggling with RLS, first when I was around twenty years old and now as I am well into my middle age. I have been sober for 23 years, but a few years back I started taking Pramipexole. This drug has created more problems for me than it has solved. At the beginning it works

RLS amino acids
Hi, I don't have RLS since taking Amino Acids. If I leave them off 2 nights running it comes back as bad as before. I don't know if they do me any harm but it's better than the torture every night. I take Glutamine, Ornithine and Lyseine. If anyone tries this please let me know how it goes. I have

Bioflex PMBT Device
Does anyone have any information or experience with the photobiomodulation (light delivered via low level laser) therapy device sold by the Bioflex Company located in Toronto, CA? Their claim is it energizes mitochondria, lowers inflammation, and promotes healing. Thanks - John G

Hello 👋
Hi, we are all happy to have you in the group and share your insight. There is a very strong genetic component to this. My mom, brother and I all have anxiety and depression. I have been diagnosed with bipolar 2. I've tried ketamine tablets and found it effective but had to stop because it's costly.

Oxycodone, RLS
Morning everyone, another sleepless night. Where do we go from here? Now taking Oxycodone - 5mg in morning, 10mg at 9pm and another 5mg about 3am as well as 1400mg Gabapentin spread over evening. Nothing working. Cannot get Buprenorphine in our area because it is on red list. Really feel like we have

Does anyone else over 60 with Glaucoma pay for eye lubrication in the UK ?
Apparently North East Essex patients have to pay for eye lubricants, also some areas of Somerset. Does anyone else ? It would be very useful to know. HRT now only costs £20 a year available to all women (probably only needed for a few years), so why not all Gaucoma medications ? Is lifetime conservation

Pramipexole update
After eight weeks of cutting back, I have finally done three nights without any pramipexole. Immediately I suffered a return to restless legs, but taking some CBD gummies has helped. Mentally, I feel much better knowing that I am no longer dependent on the tablets. Physically, I feel weird but I suppose

Dreadful Anxiety
I have suffered from anxiety for decades. It has mostly been under control with medication, EMDR and therapy. I also suffer from bi-polar and PTSD. My Psychiatrist has put me on Zoloft (50mg), but it is not helping. In fact, I feel more anxious on it. Maybe it is not a high enough dose for me. I am

NHS Somerset C.C.G have said they will not prescribe eye lubricants on prescription
Recently I have had difficulty obtaining my regular eye lubrication from the pharmacy and last week the G.P surgery told me that I would have to buy my own eye medication. I was given a leaflet explaining that the Somerset CCG considers these lubricating drops of limited clinical value and for minor
