I’ve been using latanoprost eye drops for 7 weeks now, I have suspicious discs and a family history of glaucoma ( mother) and when prescribed my pressures were 22 in both eyes.
For the last week I have woken with a headache, and I’m wondering if this could be related to the eye drops, as this is the only change to my medications.
I’ve tried ringing the glaucoma unit at the eye infirmary I attend, and unfortunately I keep getting cut off when no one picks up.
I can’t get an appointment with my GP, as no appointments are available.
Has anyone else experienced headaches with Latanoprost?
Thank you.

I get bad headaches anyway. withoout. drops do it hard for me too say but I will say they have decreased a bit with eye drops have it's the pressure causing them ??
I had my follow up appointment and my eye pressures have dropped from 22 both eyes to 10 left eye and 14 right eye after 8 weeks using latanoprost, one drop each eye at night. My eyes were classed as unstable 8 weeks ago and are now stable, and I will be reviewed in 6 months.
The headaches that I started experiencing on waking, after 6 weeks of using the drops are subsiding. Glaucoma nurse was not concerned about them, latanoprost May in some instances cause headaches in early stages of use, but it is definitely not caused by IOP.
Relieved and happy that Latanoprost is doing its work.
