RLS amino acids

Hi, I don't have RLS since taking Amino Acids. If I leave them off 2 nights running it comes back as bad as before. I don't know if they do me any harm but it's better than the torture every night. I take Glutamine, Ornithine and Lyseine.

If anyone tries this please let me know how it goes. I have never heard of anyone else using it for restless legs and I can't remember what I was taking it for. I would be really happy if it helped someone else.

Thank you for that information ,

It's great when someone comes up with a strategy that works.

May it continue to work for you.

great share thank you. My husband has recently been using Taurine and Glycine which is helping him to get more sleep. He’s also using magnesium glycinate. I will definitely share this with him!

Thanks for that I can't sleep well. I might try taurine then I've been thinking about that. Tricia

Believe you me, if a bunch of RLS patients try these amino acids and can get sleep with them, you'll not only be thanked, but you'll be crowned Queen of the May. Thanks for the suggestion.

I feel there might be something to it, my husbands gaining some benefits from the ones he’s taking.

glycine powder , 1 tsp at night before bed is great. Helps drop body temperature.

Also use magnesium glycinate… and yes taurine Is great for nervous system support and sleep too..

and, are you taking them as separate supplements? Or is it a combo?

I forgot to add my husband is also using tyrosine.

Yes, can you please share how much of each you take and what times of the day or night? And I'm sooo happy for you!! I would love to be able to take something nonprescription and be able to stop taking my prescription meds.

I take precision engineered. L Argenine 1447L Ornithine 900

L lysine 1200.

I take 2 at night although bottle says 4. I only need 2

I take as little as possible because I haven't found any information on the safety of long term use.

personally I wouldn’t worry about amino acid safety when others are taking huge risks with prescription meds and opiates. If you can solve it with amino acids… I think that good as gold.

Thanks for sharing. How long have you been on this regime?

And us this what you take?

About 1 year. Can't remember exactly. Yes this is the one I take but I have used Solgar and piping rock. All of them worked even though one of them didn't have Lysine. I take 2 at night.

I tried the amino acid combo after I read your post. It worked but, sadly, only for about four hours. I know L-Arginine increases dopamine so I guess that's the main reason why it works.
