I am sorry to hear that some members of the group have been denied the opportunity to get these on free prescriptions as they can be very beneficial I have Glaucoma and apply eye drops 4 times a day and have been prescribed the following for dry eyes over the years Hyaback,Visu Evo,Clinatas and Thealoz Duo I was wondering what other people in the group have found most beneficial in the ones mentioned? I usually take them 2-3 a day.

Eye drops for dry eyes
Hi
My opticians recommended Thealoz Duo and an overnight ointment that I couldn't find so I used Hycosan Night.
But my consultant prescribed Hylo Forte and Xailin for overnight. Am still using those. I think the Hylo Forte is more viscous than the Thealoz Duo. I like the Hylo as, once I got used to the pump action, I found it easier to use - you can kind of spray it into the corner of your eye.
My GP has added it to my repeat and I don't have to pay, thankfully.
I too use Hylo Forte and Xailin. The former I get on prescription and the latter over the counter.
Maybe Glaucoma UK could campaign about the prescribing of drops for dry eyes?
I use Hylo for dry eyes and use around 8 times
A day I work in the hospital and it is very warm
So I was advised to put in as many during my
Shift 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇮🇪
thanks this is useful to know
