I have had glaucoma for years, last December 2023i had cataracts done to help with opening angles, then in March I had SLT & my pressures went down to 13&17 but since then my balance is not good, it hasn’t been good for long enough but worse now, could it be to do with when I am in shops with the light sensitivity. I just don’t know what to do. Anybody else with this problem.
I also have balance and light sensitivity issues. I’ve had trabs and cataract removals. I’m sure the light sensitivity is related. Maybe balance issues too. I’d be interested to know if there’s a connection.
Thanks for your reply Eahldt, it’s nice to know I am not on my own with this problem. I have problems in shops etc, have to go out & sit down for a while then go back in, but on a bad day my balance issues will last all day. Is yours there all the time.
Me to it’s so embarrassing, does your head & eyes also feel funny. I feel ok when I am sitting down though. The bigger the store i worse I feel, it’s as if your brain is not keeping up with what your eyes are seeing.
It’s nice to see I am not the only one, it was giving me anxiety. The best store I find with low lighting is Aldi in Inverness. I am hoping that one day soon I will be able to come off drops. I have to have VFT in a few weeks time so all depends on how I feel on the day. Keep going & hope your eyes settle down.
