Tobacconists Anonymous. I fondly remember the local tobacconists: wooden barrels smelling of musky joy, a continuous flame for lighting, even the wooden indian. It's now a clothing store, but with a brass plaque engraved with the Ode to Tobacco. So much mystical ritual and nostalgia surrounds tobacco

I have quit monday, which makes this my 3rd successful day without cigarettes. I'm on patches for the nicotine, and take regular gum at the times I usually

9 days smoke free!
I quit smoking 9 days ago. I've been short of breath for the past week and it feel like I have a pressure in my chest and throat. Hubby says it's anxiety as he's a "quitter". I saw a similar post regarding this issue.

day 8
today has been bad. I have a strong urge to smoke, I'm extremely stressed and really want a cigarette and since my boyfriend cant stop smoking in front of me I have to battle that urge twice as hard. I don't know what to do right now I'm losing my mind and worst case scenario I'm just going to sleep

Morning everybody, I hope you're having the best day possible. I'm using my Nic spray but have not had a single puff of a cig since 4th May. Today is the third anniversary of my son's death, I'm strong this morning but going to the beach later where we scattered his ashes, and memories will hit. He was

Day 36
Yesterday was unexpectedly tough. I had a prolonged period of wanting to smoke for no particular reason. I've noticed that my cravings have this weird Pavlovian aspect to them. My mouth gets wet (because I salivate). Never noticed the physical responses before but I'm paying attention more to whats

Hi everyone! ~ I'm 68 and live in Cornwall, UK. I have followed this support group right through my journey and now after 10 months, I can honestly say after many years, I'm a non-smoker. I had my last cigarette on November 2nd at 8.30am ~ I remember it clearly as it was such a milestone in my life.
