Morning help?
In the morning and up till Noon or so, I experience what I call a brain fog/storm, anxiety increased, etc. Is it from low dopamine when i awake at 6:30? Some symptoms improve 30/45 minutes after i take meds, but the other can last until after second dose at 11/12.

DA Withdrawal
I'm now past my day 3 of the dopamine agonist withdrawal. I had been taking 0.125/0.0625 mg of Pramipex for the last seven months or so but decided to stop with the fear of augmentation and the fact that Pramipex had clearly made me dependent. A night without Pramipex started to mean that I would get

Coenzyme a . Has anyone used this?
I’m just going back through my husband’s DNA report from opus and noticed he has SNPs that mean he has high dopamine beta hydroxylase activity. I looked this up and apparently it sulphyryl compounds can inhibit this enzyme. On the list is coenzyme a . I’ve found you can buy it on amazon. Reviews say

My 97 yr old mum was finally given a diagnosis of atypical Parkinson's after a DAT scan. She's been treated for 8 years. A few months ago she was given Opicapone. I thought it was the answer to my prayers until she started hearing music and finally after 5 weeks hallucinating badly. I titrated her

Apomorphine is a somewhat strange Dopamine Agonist (non-egoline DA Parky B!) that required subcutaneous injections. It certainly hasn't been a mainline DA prescription in the USA. Levodopa and CYP3A4, but probably not Grapefruit juice... The next steps
The next step in my research will be to help set up a "Proof of Concept" trial, hopefully with an international team of experts in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, drug development and Parkinson's disease. This means scientifically answering the following question (or something like it). "Does inhibition

Here's the deal. I've felt terrible since June 2017 when I was diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis. I likely had Hashimotos for many years prior but wasn't ever diagnosed. At the time of dx, my TSH was over 100 and free levels were tanked. Symptoms flooded in over the following months including crushing

The Total Destruction from My Prescribed Opiates.
I apologize in advance as the following post is very long, but it is the story of my own personal experience of how Opiates almost took my life after taking everything else. I am also fully aware that many people take Opiates for pain relief & say they help them. This is just my own personal experience

Can C/L and venlaxafine ( effexor/ SSNRI) possibly be the reason I experience some symptoms ?,?
I really need some advice. I think perhaps some of my symptoms may be caused by one or more of my medications. I received a DAT SCAN (showed loss of dopamine in the right and left side of my brain) in 2015 confirming that I have Parkinson's but because my progression seems to be faster than most ,

The naturally occurring molecule N-acetylcysteine (NAC) shows benefit in a clinical trial for Parkinson's Disease.
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is a naturally occurring molecule that replenishes one of the body's antioxidants and now shows potential benefit as part of a standard course of treatment for patients with Parkinson's disease, according to a study published in the journal, Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics

Fat-soluble B1, for a 25x enhancement at the brain ?
My question to you and to a neurologist who supports Dr Costantini’s Thiamine B1 protocol: Given the information below, I am curious to know your opinion about a switch from water-soluble Thiamine B1 to a fat-soluble B1, for a much enhanced [25 times] efficiency at the brain… —————————————————————

I said Noo not New!!
Hi all. I have come across a post on a news feed about Nootropics and their alleged efficacy. Being semi alert this morning, (9 hours sleep with only one wakeful period - I think that is a new record - in your face Rip Van Winkle), I did a little reading around them focusing on one in particular that

Can you do too much exercise and use up your dopamine?
I still manage to work as a postman walking up to 50miles a week. I cycle and do fell walking where possible. However my condition has suddenly got worse and it has been suggested that I could be doing too much. Can you use up what little dopamine there is remaining or is it best to do more exercise

Amino acids and creatine
Yes I take creatine (5g day) and several amino acids (all 21 if possible). All of the above are very good for optimum muscle performance, especially recovery. Some amino acids are needed for cellular functions and brain health. No doctor will tell you this. You have to find out yourself. Lots of good

Worst night in months
So I voluntary skipped my 0.0625 mg dose of Mirapex ( having taken it for over 6 months now with the occasional 0.125 mg dose). And it was hell. Beyond hell to be clear. Could not stand the RLS which felt like waves of electric shocks. Survived without the dose only till 12:30 pm and then woke up and
